- This silent engine does not sound rough, even when driving at 120kmph.
- It has got good pulling power, which helps with overtaking both in cities and on highways.
- Despite being powerful, the ARAI-claimed mileage is an impressive 17.9kmpl.
- The SUV is stable even at speeds of up to 120kmph and doesn't feel like a huge car to drive.
- The iMT version makes driving a manual gearbox very convenient.
- Even in the iMT version, overtaking doesn't feel unnerving as long as the engine is over 1,500rpm.
- The gear lever in the iMT has a smooth shifting action, requiring very little effort.
- The Seltos gets hill-start assist as standard. This feature prevents the car from rolling backward on an up-hill slope.
Negatives:
- There's a lack of good response from this engine at low speeds.
- The first gear in the iMT version sometimes feels jerky and rough at around 25kmph.
- The ride quality feels slightly hard on imperfect roads.

- There's good visibility due to the sloping dashboard design, thin pillars, and big window area. Moreover, its boot space is deep and wide.
- The Seltos is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control system, and voice-controlled power windows.
- The SUV receives the brand's latest Connect app, which has features such as live tracking, remote start/stop and lock/unlock, and security alerts.
Negatives:
- Tall passengers and individuals above six feet will find the rear seat headroom restrictive.
- There isn't good rear seat thigh support, and even the middle passenger's back cushioning is hard.
- Passengers will have to lift luggage high to load the boot as the loading lip is high. Besides, the boot space is not that tall, restricting loading big stuff on top of each other.

Comfort ride, good fuel economy, elegant design all making it a complete satisfaction to my level. The more I drive the more I fall in love with my beast. Seltos HTX IVT 1.5 PETROL not to buy Service is Horrible in BangaloreOverall, its a very bad experience with the car, facing issues from Day 1, sometimes the 360 Camera does not work, it's been almost 3 months, KIA connect app is not a good option to buy with a Subscription, it hardly works, raised the complaints its been almost more than three weeks but no resolution. Mileage in city its hardly giving 7.5 to 8 on the highway it's approximately. 14. It's my third car but never had such a problem. Kia Seltos 2023 Facelift Matte Edition (Level 2 ADAS, Turbo DCTThe 1.5 Turbo DCT powertrain is smooth, quick, and refined. Gear shifts are lightning fast, and the engine pulls effortlessly even with a full load. Highway overtakes are effortless — it feels confident and stable at triple-digit speeds. City drivability is excellent too — the DCT gearbox is responsive and smartly tuned. I consistently get 10–11 km/l in city and 14–15 km/l on highways with moderate driving. Safety & ADAS Level 2 ADAS genuinely enhances confidence on highways. Lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise, and forward collision warning work seamlessly — not intrusive but smart. 6 airbags, ESC, hill assist, and solid build make it feel secure. Comfort & Interiors The cabin feels premium — leather upholstery, ambient lighting, powered seat, ventilated seats, and Bose audio make long drives a pleasure. Noise insulation is very good; road and engine noise are minimal. Rear seat space is comfortable for three average adults. Exterior & Matte Finish The matte graphite colour stands out — unique and elegant. The PPF coating keeps the paint in perfect condition; it still looks showroom-fresh. The car attracts attention everywhere but maintaining matte paint without PPF would be difficult — I’m glad I did the PPF immediately after delivery. Tech & Features The 10.25” dual-screen setup, 360° camera, air purifier, connected car tech, and panoramic camera view make it feel ahead of its time. ADAS + blind view monitor + front parking sensors = peace of mind in city traffic. Practicality & Ownership Boot space is generous. Service experience at Kia Navi Mumbai has been smooth — timely, professional, and cost-effective. No rattles, no issues so far. Seltos Poor Body Built QualityLook and interiors are great, however that can be deceptive as the body built quality is pathetic. In Feb 2024 there was rain accompanied by hail in Chandigarh, the Seltos body suffered extensive damage while my own body and that of my second car of another brand were absolutely unaffected.
