Rotate tyres every 8–10k km for even wear. Use AC wisely in heavy traffic to avoid extra load on mileage. Wash and wax regularly — darker shades show scratches easily.

I am a buyer of a Kia Carens Clavis petrol car on December 25th 2025, the facelift version of carens. I believe that it's a perfect Family car with perfect safety, having 6 airbags, BNCAP with 4 Star, with good usable features, non-compromising DCT (Automatic), and good body quality. Overall, I can say all the customer needs are covered in the facelift based on customer choice. So far, I have driven around 800 km in Bengaluru, a city, it's giving 11 to 12 kmpl and on High way it's 14 to 15 kmpl, it's based on your drive mode, I have not consistently driven in ECO mode. Sometimes, I took Sports mode as well. Being a 1.5 Ltr Turbo Petrol Engine with 158 bhp (117 kw) and 253 NM torque, it's really good in terms of mileage. Coming to the power drive, I felt it was great. Overall, I love this car, which perfectly suits my requirements for a big family.

The Kia Carens Clavis is a great family MPV with stylish design, refined diesel engine and comfortable ride quality. The new features like the digital cluster, ventilated seats, and smooth gearbox make daily driving effortless. Space management is excellent for all three rows, and AC performance is strong. It feels premium inside while still offering good mileage. A 360° camera and blind-spot monitoring would make it even better, but overall, it’s a solid, practical choice for Indian families.

Very poor pickup at lower gears and city driving. To get a sunroof, you have to shell down 26L on the road, in which range many alternatives are there. Bad decision by Kia. The older version at least had a single one sunroof in mid variants.

I bought the petrol variant. It is the most basic one, still, the after market stuffs are much cheaper. The features are more, the engine is buttery, the mileage is high for a 7 seater, I get `11 in city and `15 in highway. After 1st service.
