I am absolutely smitten by this car, this is my first car and first SUV, and i think it is worth every penny. I have gotten the Model S petrol, and have driven it for around 3100 kms, and it has been a delight. It is one of those cars that you look forward to getting into at the end of your day, and don't get exhausted even after you have driven it for long. It's comfortable, spacious, quick and efficient. Overall a great package.

Pros-Amazing Driving Experience,comfortable,stable and planted at highway speed.Amazing road presence.A true SUV,absolutely love the car.Cons - The base model could be a bit more equipped for the price.Had to upgrade it a bit with the accessories package,so a bit expensive.Fuel economy in city conditions is terrible.But then again this is a vehicle that stokes a passion and is for the open roads and long road trips.Definitely hurts your pocket with the price of petrol these days.

The vehicle started giving problems within a month. All the engineers do is to get the car to the workshop. Not ashamed to yell that in the first month itself. When asked for a full refund. No answers some Tom, dick and Harry keep calling asking when can they take the vehicle to the garage. As far as possible don't even touch it with a barge pole.

It's lot of fun to drive.It is little heavy on the road but that's okay.The 9-speed automatic gearbox and the 2.0 litre diesel have been a great combination,making my regular drives to the market hassle-free.

The experience of being with this vehicle irrespective of the variant is cool and if you feel different from the lot that is for sure. Driving this vehicle is a pleasure in Automatic transmission. If you drive in a sedate manner in city, you can go for short quick power boost for 50 -100 meters really fast in the city, usually wont get more than 100 meters free lane in metro cities. It feels heavy in the steering wheel due to its hydraulic power steering (Seltos, Creta & sedan car usually get Electronic power steering which feels very very light as compared to Compass even below 40 km/hr speed.) For the manual variants clutch is deep and hard with little bit of turbo lag you may feel. One can get good mileage in manual transmission obviously depending on driving conditions (Driving style roads condition proper vehicle maintained) This vehicle is not comparable to Seltos ,Creta, Xuv, Tata. Jeep has it vehicles overpriced because it doesn't offer basic day to day features in this Sports variant. A few feature to name are Auto A/C, Cruise control, Auto folding ORVMS, Fog lamps should be bare minimum offerings in this price of approx 20.5 lakhs on road(accessories worth 50k additional).The other features such as push start button, sunroof, auto dimming ORVM, parcel tray ,LED tail lamps, roof rails are also missing, but one can think to go ahead without them for this Sports Model. For the above features Jeep has added additional 5.5 lakhs price and featured Longitude Model which is not worth the price at all in my opinion. This is where Jeep is losing its market share. If any one has to put in 25+ lakhs for base models they would go ahead with 28+ Lakh model. Again then who are ready to put in 28 lakhs would hardly consider Compass and may go with VW T-Roc, or Skoda Octavia, kodiac, karoq.etc and the list may not end.. So Jeep compass is a very good product but price and features mismatch is the most buyers issue.

We bought the Jeep Compass from PPS Jeep in Kanakapura Road, the experience was flawless, and the advisors at Jeep were very knowledgeable (Mr. Tousif and Akash) They helped us make the right choice. Driving the car has been fun, Very good road presence and the car makes you feel supreme. It gives you very good stability and has a very linear acceleration. The car can feel heavy in city traffic but it's easily compensated by the amazing performance-oriented engine. The car is however pretty low on mileage, the mileage in the city is usually around 6-7 KM/L but can drop to 5-6 KM/L during high traffic. The car is fun to drive on highways, it gives a better mileage of around 10-11 KM/L, it's very stable, and can cruise at high speeds with ease. All in all a good car and a powerful engine made for performance.

This is my 4th Car. All my previous cars were either Hatchback or Sedan. I am 5.6 ft. tall and hence looking for a not so bulky SUV. Test drove Creta, XUV700, Alcazar and Tuscan. I liked Tucson but felt it has less road presence. Cost was almost same as Compass, but a little spacious and more engine capacity, though Compass has more BHP and hence makes it more powerful. Buying experience from MPS motors Bangalore, was delightful. Liked the shape, interiors, built quality and driving comforts. If you are not tall, then this is a perfect car for a family of 4. Excellent in long driving, though it takes time to pickup the speed, especially when fully occupied. Only con, is mileage. But, because of more power and heavy body weight (solid built), it is expected. Since the comfort and safety is at par with any other luxury cars, and since its JEEP, the price can not be compared with Creta, Seltos or similar kind of cars. This has its own charm. No regrets till now.

I bought it from KHT JEEP Domlur , Bangalore... Buying experience was nice.. Post sales support and service is very good compare to other manufactures. I recommend this vehicle for those who looking for safety, comfort, driving dynamics, interior and build quality. Price is more compare to other vehicles because of more hidden safety features. Those who are all looking for fancy items then Seltos, ,Creta .For bigger SUV Safari is also good.

I bought the car from KHT Bangalore.I am pretty much happy with the experience.Overall much better compared to other brands in same price bracket.They offer Welcome Kit and chocolates as a good gesture. It comes with ZF's 9 Speed AT, since it is a 4X4 car. It is bit slow with pickup.But it picks up easily after1.5K RPM.The 2 liter multijet engine doesn't like to be revved hard and gear box sticks to the same gear If revved hard it performs ultimately if the acceleration is linear. Feels very robust. Steering and control are the main USP's of the car.Stability of the car at high speeds is comparable with German's. The only con is rear seat leg room and boot space.Other USP is dimensions of the car, it is so good that it can be driven easily in hilly terrains where the roads are narrow with ease. Service and Maintenance is ok for a 30Lakh car.
