Jeep Compass On Road Price in Ahmednagar

I bought the car from KHT Bangalore.I am pretty much happy with the experience.Overall much better compared to other brands in same price bracket.They offer Welcome Kit and chocolates as a good gesture. It comes with ZF's 9 Speed AT, since it is a 4X4 car. It is bit slow with pickup.But it picks up easily after1.5K RPM.The 2 liter multijet engine doesn't like to be revved hard and gear box sticks to the same gear If revved hard it performs ultimately if the acceleration is linear. Feels very robust. Steering and control are the main USP's of the car.Stability of the car at high speeds is comparable with German's. The only con is rear seat leg room and boot space.Other USP is dimensions of the car, it is so good that it can be driven easily in hilly terrains where the roads are narrow with ease. Service and Maintenance is ok for a 30Lakh car.

The experience of being with this vehicle irrespective of the variant is cool and if you feel different from the lot that is for sure. Driving this vehicle is a pleasure in Automatic transmission. If you drive in a sedate manner in city, you can go for short quick power boost for 50 -100 meters really fast in the city, usually wont get more than 100 meters free lane in metro cities. It feels heavy in the steering wheel due to its hydraulic power steering (Seltos, Creta & sedan car usually get Electronic power steering which feels very very light as compared to Compass even below 40 km/hr speed.) For the manual variants clutch is deep and hard with little bit of turbo lag you may feel. One can get good mileage in manual transmission obviously depending on driving conditions (Driving style roads condition proper vehicle maintained) This vehicle is not comparable to Seltos ,Creta, Xuv, Tata. Jeep has it vehicles overpriced because it doesn't offer basic day to day features in this Sports variant. A few feature to name are Auto A/C, Cruise control, Auto folding ORVMS, Fog lamps should be bare minimum offerings in this price of approx 20.5 lakhs on road(accessories worth 50k additional).The other features such as push start button, sunroof, auto dimming ORVM, parcel tray ,LED tail lamps, roof rails are also missing, but one can think to go ahead without them for this Sports Model. For the above features Jeep has added additional 5.5 lakhs price and featured Longitude Model which is not worth the price at all in my opinion. This is where Jeep is losing its market share. If any one has to put in 25+ lakhs for base models they would go ahead with 28+ Lakh model. Again then who are ready to put in 28 lakhs would hardly consider Compass and may go with VW T-Roc, or Skoda Octavia, kodiac, karoq.etc and the list may not end.. So Jeep compass is a very good product but price and features mismatch is the most buyers issue.

I purchased pre owned car Limited version. Trust me it is car that should be compares with Audi Q4. Superb driving dynamics high speed stability heavy weight 1600 kg Tcs, Abs, Ebd etc car is really affordable guys .Buy it own it. change perspective of SUV, No Cons.

Pros-Amazing Driving Experience,comfortable,stable and planted at highway speed.Amazing road presence.A true SUV,absolutely love the car.Cons - The base model could be a bit more equipped for the price.Had to upgrade it a bit with the accessories package,so a bit expensive.Fuel economy in city conditions is terrible.But then again this is a vehicle that stokes a passion and is for the open roads and long road trips.Definitely hurts your pocket with the price of petrol these days.

The vehicle started giving problems within a month. All the engineers do is to get the car to the workshop. Not ashamed to yell that in the first month itself. When asked for a full refund. No answers some Tom, dick and Harry keep calling asking when can they take the vehicle to the garage. As far as possible don't even touch it with a barge pole.

Had Jeep compass automatic for 2+years. Amazing car so far. Made truly for Indian roads. Handles well. very comfortable seats. Pros: looks, body, drive, seats , interior finish, audio. Cons: Fuel efficiency 8- 15 , weak pickup.

After lot of test drives I decided to book Jeep compass which is the clear winner ahead of Harrier and Hector for me in terms of driving experience, Sound Insulation, compactness and vehicle stability. We are amazed with its built quality and pin drop silence inside the cabin even in traffic. This is my experience for the first 200Kms +. Regarding Mileage I am getting 7 to 8 KM/L in city which is hurting my pocket. However I am aware of this fact before. But Showroom guys informed me that after 2 services mileage will hit a max of 10 to 11 in city conditions. Waiting for it.
