I bought my Jeep Compass DCT Petrol in March 2023 and in May 2023 the model is discontinued. The Company and the Dealer very silently sold me the said model without disclosing the fact the engine is being replaced by a newer version and the current is going out of production. This is a clear case of desperate Sales. The car is giving me a poor mileage of 9.8 kms and the Fiat engine is lethargic. The pick-up is laggard and the back seat is cramped. The width is lacking. The AC also is not effective, lacks effective cooling and the headlights are a real let down, so dim and weak that night driving is a hazard. The Company is not worried about eroding customer trust.

Not once did they pressure me to book and even told me that if I wanted to delay my purchase by a year they would be just as happy to help. Moreover, the salespeople have kept in touch with me after the sale and ensure that my servicing is done on time and at a minimal cost. They even helped me get a good deal on an extended warranty.

Horrible to drive in city traffic as clutch is too hard and deep, Fun on highway rides. Go for Automatic. Fit and finish are excellent. Service and parts are unnecessarily expensive.

Buying experience was really good from Landmark Jeep. Drive is good as per the engine, excellent ride quality. Stunning looks for the dual tone. Might have been better with a 2 ltr engine but again that will take a toll on mileage. The engine is charged after initial first 2 gears. Getting 9.8 km/l to 10.6 km/l in city with ac and moderate traffic and in a radius of 7 kms only. It goes to 11.3 km/l when driven around 20 kms at a stretch with full ac. Tank to tank its 10.6 km/l. With heavy traffic it can come down to 8 km/l. Service pending. For pros it has a sturdy built quality, amazing interior, excellent for 4 passengers. For cons it should have front parking sensors, cooled glove box and paddle shifter. Sometimes little rattling noise comes and goes. But overall a good package.

On 23 July i made the payment, 24th I visited to inspect the vehicle which was to be delivered to me. I informed them about broken fender cladding; they said it'll be repaired the next day still nothing done. Next day i took delivery, was driving it home, got issues and warnings "Auto Hold Not Available" Need service etc. Landmark service center at Gurugram took it and kept it for two days but could not even identify the root cause of this issue and returned the faulty vehicle back to me. I have made a mistake by spending my hard earned money on this pathetic vehicle. Never purchase Jeep it is waste of money and headache.
