The 2020 Hyundai Elite i20 will be even more feature packed than the current car and it will also get a sportier design than the current model.
The 2020 Hyundai Elite i20 will be even more feature packed than the current car and it will also get a sportier design than the current model. At the time of launch, the new i20 will get the BlueLink from the Hyundai Venue with an integrated sim, concierge service, and on the automatic versions, the ability to start the engine and turn on climate control.
In terms of design, the new Hyundai Elite i20 will get more pronounced wheel arches, a sharper shoulder line, and a more prominent grille upfront. Hyundai is also looking to go up on wheel size to fill those sportier arches. Additionally, the new Elite i20 will also get disc brakes all round. Not only is the new car said to be longer and wider, it will also sit on a longer wheelbase. Interestingly, the new Elite i20 will use a modified version of the Venue’s platform.
Other features on the new Elite i20 will include a single zone climate control system, rear aircon vents, and a sunroof. Expect the top trims to sport six airbags as well. Post launch, the new-gen Hyundai Elite i20 will compete against the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz, and the new Toyota Glanza, among other premium hatchbacks.
