2023 Honda City Hybrid eHEV

I recently upgraded to the 2025 Honda City Hybrid (e:HEV), and it has completely redefined my daily commute in Mumbai. Having owned the previous non-hybrid ZX, the transition to this "Strong Hybrid" technology is night and day. ​What makes it a winner: ​The Silent Start: Every morning starts in pure EV mode. It is eerily silent and incredibly smooth, making bumper-to-bumper traffic much less stressful. ​Mind-Blowing Mileage: While most sedans struggle in the city, I’m consistently seeing figures around 23-25 kmpl. The way it switches between Engine, Hybrid, and EV drive modes is seamless—you honestly don’t even feel it happening. ​Safety First (Honda Sensing): The ADAS features are a literal lifesaver. The Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist work brilliantly on the highway, adding a layer of premium tech that you usually only find in luxury segments. ​Performance: Don't let the "Hybrid" tag fool you; the instant torque from the electric motor gives it a punchy acceleration that makes overtaking effortless.

It’s a very nice car at this price point and gives a good mileage of about 24-25. It is also a hybrid, so very fuel efficient. Now, about the comfort, it is decent, but with a luxury interior overall, the car is good at this price point.

The fit and finish could be better, but the drive is smooth, and the gearbox is excellent and efficient. The power is also exciting, and overall, Honda has provided a good package for a hybrid car.
