I've owned the car (ZX variant) for over 2 years now and have put 22,000 kms. Here is an honest take. Pros - Spacious and roomy Seats are wide and comfortable in first 2 rows All 4 windows are auto up/down Audio system with subwoofer is above average Fuel efficiency is okay (12-16 kmpl) depending on how you drive. Drive hard and it drops to 10 kmpl. Cons - Too many to list, where do we start! Worst interior quality of any car at any price. Cheapest plastics you can find Flimsy build quality outside as well Body panels flex Abject paint quality Take a look at that headliner, I mean can it be any cheaper? Ride is weird and jittery on 18" wheels Everything rattles on poor roads Windows already creaking (where's the Toyota quality?) Infotainment system is from the 90s No features at all Window and other buttons are unlit You can't auto unlock all 4 doors on shifting to park No auto wipers Headlights are poor Camera is grainy It's close to 40 lakhs

Non-Hybrid version gave me better mileage than I expected.. lacked only Cruise control, which I missed. I got installed later on OEM. Got some other accessories.. paid only 24.85L. Satisfied with the Car .. Highway milage with heavy foot 13-14km/l, Light foot 15km/l. and within the city, 9-11km/l with heavy foot that too in delhi... Power is not a problem at all in the hills too.. very powerful for the person who knows how to drive a CVT I have heard my friends having Hybrid variants also getting around 12 km/l after paying 12L extra for the Hybrid system, plus no worry about battery maintenance and its replacement cost. Also, the battery takes space in cabin under front seats.. The GXO model really suited me with all features and leather etc.. electric parking brake, auto AC, etc, happy with the package. And I love my Black color and got Dark chrome wheels Toyota design with bigger and wider tyres.. Extremely satisfied with the Vehicle.

Dashboard is pathetic music system is worst car mileage is worst cant connect to iOS and then to Android. Car music system automatically stops when car is running for 3 hours. No

Overall the car is excellent considering driving, performance, comfort etc. There is a slight chance of improvement in the interior finishing.

1. Buying Experience is awesome at Harsha Toyota 2. Driving Experience is good. However, pickup is low [if you are used to a geared vehicle, you'll feel it] 3. The car looks fantastic 4. Performance is good. The first 300km it's averaged about 12km/l. Long trip averaged at 17km/l. I guess it will improve further after servicing. 5. Comfort and Road presence are amazing.

Super driving experience clubbed with excellent features and a sunroof looks fantastic in the car. It's spacious and includes all the features that an MPV should have; however, it's sporty.

Nagar traffic, my Hycross is consistently delivering 18.5 kmpl. On a recent trip to Bangalore, it was a cruising machine—planted, powerful, and incredibly efficient. Comfort & Style The Ottoman Life: My family calls the middle row the business Class Lounge. The powered leg rests are a game-changer for long trips. The ventilated seats and the dual-zone climate control are mandatory for Chennai’s 40°C days. The cabin cools down faster than it takes to find a parking spot at Phoenix Mall! The SUV-like stance gives it a massive road presence. It doesn’t look like a typical MUV anymore; it looks like a premium powerhouse. The Innova Hycross isn't just a car; it’s an investment in peace of mind. Toyota’s reliability, combined with futuristic hybrid tech, makes it the king of the road. If you want a vehicle that treats your family like royalty and your fuel budget with respect, this is it.

It has been 2 years since i took delivery of my Toyota Innova Hycross ZX(0) and my commute is 80% in city and 20% in highway and i enjoy the car since the hybrid tech is new to me and i try to compete with it by trying to run it in full EV mode as much as possible, my wife gets bugged out though on why i always try to keep the speed limit :) So here are a few pros and cons that I have noticed over the 29k+ kms I have run on it. The first con is that cost-cutting is evident all over the car; there is no illumination for most of the switches (window switches, reading lamp switches, sunroof control, etc). For the price that is offered, it really is a letdown. Secondly the fuel meter is never accurate or predictable and puts us in panic mode, to ellaborate it - shows half tank full and drives a few kms and when we turn it off and on again it drops below empty and shows as to refill and vice versa (this can be especially frustrating when there are multiple drivers and no one knows when it was last refilled or do they need to refill since the needle is faulty). multiple complaints have been made, but the service centre says it is an issue with all Toyota Innova Hycross owners. The ADAS keeps kicking in LDA in the city, and it pushes you into the lane pretty harshly when you least expect it. there is no way to turn it off permanently, and you have to do it every time you start the car. The headlights do well in the city, but you question if it is on in the highway(Toyota seems to have fixed it now, as per the blog I read). Not a highway car if you are pushy and the road and engine noise easily penetrated into the cabin (as much so that people ask you what that "noise"). Needs Lumbar support as the seat causes back pain to anyone who drives 4+ hours. okay, enough with the cons, I already bought the car, so on with the good stuff. Hybrid, being a new concept in India, has everyone curious about why the car is so silent at low speeds, and you start to sound all techy when you explain to them how it charges itself on slow speeds and uses that energy for fuel efficiency. The car is extremely efficient in the city, and you get anywhere from 17-18kmpl or sometimes more in a moderate traffic setup. (Though this figure drops badly on the highway, a neat trick is to find the soft spot between the battery and engine and keep it steady, and you might get 14-15 on the highway). The chassis is fantastic for an Innova, and the driving proportions are great for a car of its size..My parents love the chauffeur experience, and my mom loves the ottoman seats (which are only usable to it's potential if you are 5ft or under). The car feels dependable, and you are confident that it can drive many miles solidly. so to summarise it, the Hycross is good for anyone who has a lot of commuting within the city (plus occasional outstation trips) and likes to be chauffeured around.

Honestly, I am a great fan of Toyota engine and almost all of their vehicles so far (both in India and as well as in Malaysia). In fact, I had driven this Toyota Hycross vehicle both at the showroom and then for a day from a close friend. Basis which when I went to book the vehicle they ended up refusing to take the bookings even a few days before. I felt so sad that such a big Automobile Company has such a poor inventory system or Production line. Because the waiting period is for more than 26 months they openly refusing reliable and loyal customers. In fact, I had booked the VX (O) considering their unavailability on the ZX (O) product line and paid the booking amount, however, their Sales started scaring me whether I can get it in 2 years or not. With this kind of a body language, I ended up cancelling the vehicle booking almost forcefully... I wish someone from the Toyota HO goes through my write-up. I have heard that they tried to increase their production line by 30%, however, it shows a Reactive attitude instead of a Proactive one. Never expected such lousy and unchallenged behaviour from such an Automobile Giant. Alas...
