Super Expensive SpaceshipOn a test drive, the 2025 Tesla Model Y feels smooth, quick and techy, but in India, it’s way too expensive and not really suited for most roads. It’s priced around ₹60 lakh to ₹68 lakh before extras because Tesla imports fully built cars, and steep duties make it much costlier than in the US or China. That kind of price puts it in luxury territory, and many buyers feel it doesn’t offer good value compared with other EVs or SUVs you could get locally for less, especially when service networks and charging support outside big cities are limited. Plus features like Autopilot aren’t really ready for India’s unpredictable road conditions, and the somewhat firm ride and lower ground clearance don’t help on pothole-filled streets. Great Car for the tech savvyThe buying experience was seamless. Ride experience is great. Suspension could've been better. I've driven almost 11000 kms in 3 months with a road trip to Kanyakumari. Looks are awesome, and the interior is minimal. It gives me around 480-500 kms range with light pedal driving. Features are added with every software update. Tesla ka Supercharger network poore vishva mein faila hua hai, jisse long-distance travel aur bhi suvidhaajanak ho jata hai. Supercharger stations par vehicles ko tezi se charge kiya ja sakta hai.
