This is my first car purchase. I wanted a good car for long drive as well as for city use. Kylaq is no nonsense choice for both. The tornado red looks astonishing although Skoda has discontinued it now which seems stupid. The biggest plus is its 114bhp 178NM turbo engine which is smoothest in its category. It can easily do 120-140 kmph without breaking a sweat. Steering is light and gives you confidence at higher speed and turns. Suspension is neither too soft nor too hard. Gear shifts are smooth in AT. Boot space is large .Though it misses on ADAS and 360 camera, it is not a problem for me. Only thing lacking for me in Signature Plus is projector LED headlamp which is available only in Prestige model. Other than that car is perfect for a family of four. Back seating is best for two adults and one child. But seating comfort is good and has good thigh support and decent legroom. Only con is that the mileage is average. In highway I am getting 15-16 kmpl. In city depending on traffic it may vary from 08-12 kmpl.

Skoda Kylaq gives a real driving experience, a powerful engine, and smooth handling, making it the best in its class. Good European style, super comfortable seats, but it's ideal for four people. A little short legroom for back passengers. Interiors are clean and subtle. Milege is a little low, 11-12/litre in the city, though it's very new for me; hopefully, it will be a little higher after driving for some time. Overall, it's for people who love to enjoy driving.

Buying experience has been good, but don't buy any accessories from Skoda. Driving is great, easy and dynamic. Looks are classic, nothing is there which is an eyesore in this car. Maintenance is easy, 20k for 3 years. Cons: Slow start in traffic, but you pick up fast.

Now Volkswagen polo is not in India and if you want to take feel of great Volkswagen polo you should drive it , yes some features are still missing as compared to its competitors but if you are car lover and love to drive this German maker will never disappoint you.
