1.3L turbo-petrol suffers lag at low revs. It's very easy to stall too Duster's terribly old & outdated interiors are the biggest deal-breaker The feature list is basic by current times (no sunroof or keyless entry & go, just 2 airbags...) Ride quality is good, but retuned suspension & 17" rims have taken the "magic" away Price premium of ~2 lakhs for the turbo-petrol & 1.6 lakhs for the CVT is way too high Red highlights all over the car look extremely garish; we'd get them removed The next-gen Duster is already on sale globally, but Renault won't bring it here Workhorse 1.5L diesel & competent AWD are gone!!! Mediocre rear seat legroom. More like C1 segment sedans than C2 Road & wind noise are prominent at high speed. Renault's after-sales service quality is inconsistent

I recently Drive the Renault Duster Authentic Petrol 1.0L Turbo Manual and it has honestly exceeded my expectations. The biggest highlight is the turbo petrol engine which feels very punchy and responsive, especially during highway overtakes. The suspension setup is excellent and easily handles potholes, rough roads, and speed breakers better than many SUVs in this segment. The steering feels stable at high speeds and gives confidence while driving. Another thing I love is the muscular design and strong road presence. Even after years, the Duster still looks bold and attractive on Indian roads. Ground clearance is superb, making it stress-free on village roads, bad patches, and during monsoons. Cabin comfort is also very good for long drives and family trips. Mileage is practical for a turbo petrol SUV — I am getting around 12-13 kmpl in city traffic and close to 16-17 kmpl on highways with smooth driving. Maintenance cost till now has been reasonable and the car feels built to last. Best features according to me are: Powerful and refined turbo engine Outstanding suspension comfort High ground clearance Strong highway stability Spacious cabin and comfortable seating Rugged SUV feel with great road presence Only a few modern premium features are missing in this variant, but the overall driving experience completely makes up for it.

Design, look is better, good car at this price range, interior dasboard design is awesome. Litlle bit power problem as compared to hyundai venue. Seat comfort is good, front look is eye catching. rest is ok

Guys, the New Renault Duster has finally launched in India and from the launch event pics, specs, and everything they showed, I’m already pretty hyped! It’s clearly bigger, sharper, loaded with a proper big touchscreen, comfy seats, and those new engines that promise way better mileage than the old one. I haven’t got behind the wheel yet (still waiting for my test drive slot), but it looks like Renault finally fixed everything we complained about while keeping that same rugged, no-nonsense soul we loved. If you’re hunting for a proper SUV under 15 lakhs that can handle Indian roads, this one might actually deliver.
