Been driving this car for just over a month now. When we started looking, the requirement was very clear: a spacious automatic for daily office use in Mumbai, easy enough for my wife (a new driver), effortless ingress and egress for aged parents, and rear passenger headrests for long-drive comfort. With this checklist in mind, I had been extensively reviewing cars for over a year and had firmly concluded NOT TO BUY NISSAN. By December 2025, the search narrowed down to the usual suspects — Tata, Hyundai, and Maruti — with a strong bias towards closing on a Wagon R AMT. Over nearly four weekends, we sat in and evaluated almost everything within or slightly above our budget: Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Punch, i10, Exter, Wagon R, and Fronx. In many of these cars, we didn’t even feel the need to fire up the engine or take a test drive — the basic requirements just weren’t there. Eventually, though still not fully satisfied, we were almost about to close on the Altroz. Then, almost by fluke, we happened to pass a Nissan showroom — despite having a very clear mindset of not buying one. We stepped in, sat inside, and everything changed. The space on offer was immediately impressive. Seating front and rear felt ergonomically spot-on, ingress and egress were just right, and the dashboard was refreshingly no-nonsense. The driving experience itself wasn’t mind-blowing — honestly, not at the level of my old Maruti Ritz or even the new Altroz — more in the same bandwidth as a Tigor. Yet, somehow, everything felt right. Despite the known reliability concerns, we didn’t overthink it as we did elsewhere. Decision made, no time wasted. Now, after living with the car for over a month, I can confidently vouch for the real-world driving experience. This is not a car for enthusiasts. From a signal stop, it creeps forward gently, and people behind will honk during the first 3–5 seconds. However, once it settles into its sweet spot around 20 km/h, it drives comfortably and smoothly up to about 65–70 km/h. Beyond that, acceleration isn’t as linear and does take time. I also started noticing something interesting — no matter how quickly other cars accelerate in city traffic, they’re not really reaching any sooner than you would in this one. That realisation came after the first few days, when I used to get genuinely irritated by how this car refused to break speed limits even on hard acceleration. Once you tune into its rhythm, it becomes very easy to live with. Yes, the engine does vibrate a bit when in reverse gear, but honestly, that’s not a deal breaker given everything else it offers. What this car truly gets right for me are the basics: well-sized seats, excellent ergonomics, a simple and intuitive dashboard, just the right features (nothing flashy or overdone), easy ingress for elders, and interior finish quality that feels better than any Maruti I’ve experienced. If you’re in the market for a new car, my only advice would be this: make a clear list of your requirements, then physically sit in every car you possibly can. Don’t rely only on reviews or opinions. Somewhere along the way, there will be a moment — almost like a divine intervention — that tells you this is the right car for you.

Value for money, the best car so far for a small family. One of the finest Japanese technologies doing wonders on Indian roads. Front look is premium. One of the best conditioners and feel-good factors. Whole driving.

I bought this car in May 2025 and have driven it around 11,200 km so far, including both long and short trips. The design and features are quite good, but there are some major flaws that shouldn’t be ignored. First, the AC performance is very disappointing. It works decently only at night when the outside temperature is cooler. Although it has Auto AC, it doesn’t function as expected. I still need to manually adjust the temperature and fan speed. Even after the cabin becomes cool, the Auto AC doesn’t maintain it properly. The biggest issue is the poor mileage. I’ve never seen such low fuel efficiency in the under1000cc segment. In city driving, I get only 6–7 km/l, and on highways, a maximum of 12–13 km/l, even while maintaining speeds between 60–80 km/h. The service center also clains that 13–14 km/l on highways is the most you can expect. I’m referring to the CVT version. perhaps the manual transmission performs better. However, when compared with other vehicles in this segment, this one clearly lags behind in mileage and performance. Despite being a turbo engine, the pickup isn’t impressive, and there’s noticeable lag during initial acceleration. The engine feels like it’s struggling at low speeds. Lastly, the infotainment system is unreliable. Apple CarPlay works fine, but Android Auto keeps disconnecting frequently. Overall, there are too many small issues that add up. Apart from the design, there’s nothing particularly great about this car.

Value for money and I loved the car and the comfort is very good I am really happy coming to look car is super and while driving it gives good comfort and ground clearance is also good.

I have not purchased yet.But I am planning to buy this car. It is amazing car with many features and safety with cheap rate I really loved It.

I know the reputation of Nissan from the era of GTR , Nissan magnite is best one in all segments, I am satisfied in all manner and suggest to buy , I do not think twice before driving a car because of its good average which is main thing when you think to go anywhere long, if we talk about this japani machine comfort so it has good comfort as well and interior is inspired by Lamborghini, love to have this car.

Vehicle performance and the AMT gear box is excellent. I did not expect such a value for the money spent. The space is also plenty. Perfect for a family man, the vehicle's ground clearance is excellent, not to worry about bad roads and speed breakers. Maintaining a speed of 85 km/h will give a miracle in mileage.

A well balanced car for every day use and comfortable for long drives. When driven at optimal speed ~75kmph, I get 21+kmpl of mileage. Very good passenger space on front and rear. The bold stance makes the car's road presence highly noticeable. 360 camera is such a nice feature that I use very often in the tight streets and while parking perfectly. However to match the power-to-weight ratio, it's equipped with short gears, so first 3 gears needs to be shifted quickly, which I got used. The fog light didn't make much difference to me when turned on. Could have given auto-close ORVMs upon lock, (software update would be much appreciated). Option to turn off the auto walkaway lock, lane change turn indicator blink count, 360 cam custom view select would all have been nice-to-have features.
