Buying experience is good. It's my third Nissan car. Ride is quite stable and confidence inspiring. Doesn't have much body roll. Drive is suited for enthusiast. Steering is responsive unlike dead feel of Creta Seltos. Dimensions wise bigger than competition. Driver seat gives good command over the road. You sit as high as a hector or harrier. Yet to get it serviced but been driving Nissan cars for 12 years now. Never had any issues.

So, Finally a resilient competitor in the segment of SUV has came in to the market . Now a days most of the car buyers preferring SUVs instead of Hatchback/Sedan . That's why many car makers are focusing on the compact SUV type designs and Nissan Kicks is one of them. exterior : Nissan has given a sporty appearance to the car. Perfect & pretty chrome finish on the front adding class in the look of Nissan Kicks. And 17 inch alloy wheels looks pretty impressive. Interior : Now coming to the interior, chocolaty coloured leather finish on the dash board & seats, leather wrapped steering & gear knob with chrome finish looks delightful in the cabin. 8 inch touch screen display with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay & 6 speakers are also available for your long trip entertainment. And 400 liter boot space on the back is more than enough for your bulky luggage. Engine specifications : Now going towards the engine specifications & variants, Nissan offers 1498 cc petrol & 1461 cc diesel engine, which can produce 104 bhp with 145 Nm peak torque & 108 bhp with 248 Nm peak torque respectively. Kicks petrol and diesel variants are giving standard mileage of 14.23 kmpl & 19.39 kmpl respectively. Petrol variants are available with 5 - speed manual transmission & diesel variants with 6 - speed manual transmission. However, diesel engines are too noisy but the better insulation to the cabin can reduce the noise and won't allow it to penetrate in to the cabin. So, by considering this aspect Nissan has given extremely better insulation in its diesel variants. Safety : While purchasing a car customer should not ignore the safety aspects. So, considering that aspects Nissan Kicks is fully loaded with the needed safety features like ABS with EBD, Break Assist, Vehicle Dynamic Control (same as stability control) & dual air bags. You can have 2 more air bags in its topper variant. As per my personal experience, during the test drive i have checked breaking and stability control and it was comparatively better than the other available crossovers. Extra Features : Nissan has provided many advanced features like Cruise Control, Hill Start Assist, Day Time LED lights, Cornering Lights with Fog lamps & Rain sensing Wipers but the key feature which has been introduced first time in this segment is rear cameras with 360 degree around view monitor. You can use this feature while forward movement of the car in heavy traffic as well. Cons : As we all know every product has their own pros & cons. So, coming to the cons, 1) Nissan Kicks is not available with 4 wheel drive variants but with the high ground clearance of 210 mm & very balanced suspension system, it won't disappoint you on off road ride. 2) Adjustments of seats are manual only, which could be electronic for better feature. 3) Adjustment of steering wheel is only tilt type, however telescopic adjustment is not there which could be uncomfortable for some users. 4) Individual door locking/unlocking knobs are missing. So individual passenger can not lock/unlock their door separately. 5) Automatic variants are not available so if you are not habited of manual transmission then it is not for you for now. But these cons are ignorable, so if you are thinking about to buy this one the it is worth buying car.

The moment I entered the showroom ( Vibrant Nissan, Gacchibowli, Hyderabad)the car took the first impression. The manager Kiriti was a real generous person and offered me a ride on ring road and the engine was real smooth though it was a diesel vehicle. The pick was so great I could reach 100kmph within 12 seconds odd. The interiors are also quite good but the only thing which it needs to be changed was seat belts points which are little bit unreachable. There should be some more box space in between the first two seats. The sound was excellent and the bass was extraordinary. The Nissan Connect app was not working initially but in later it worked. The app really shows all the information about the car. It can be easily tracked if you give it to someone else as well. I did almost 4000km till now and I feel that it has a good road grip with massive R17 tyres. The seats are so comfortable second row is comfortable for 3 huge personalities. The odometer has so many features like avg mileage, avg speed, fuel used till date. It got all features and warning systems for everything. I feel that the boot should be reduced and that space can be given to 2nd row more spacious. The overall drive experience is very good and the braking system is very much perfect. The people who need space and power can go for this. It is a competition for Seltos and Creta but not sure why this vehicle is not been given the hype. Nissan needs more advertisements and publicity and dealer network.

I had initially booked Seltos HTX+. But after test driving Nissan Kicks the ride quality amazed me and after few more test drives, I was convinced that I want Kicks. The booking to delivery was very smooth. Dealer arranged the Vehicle in less than a week and Pre-delivery Check was done. I have been mostly doing long drives with my Kicks and 20% local drives. The ride comfort, low end torque gives complete peace of mind in cities without worrying about gear shifts. On highways, I keep the RPM below 2000 and do 80-90 Km/h which gave me 19 km/l mileage. In cities it gave 12-13 km/l. Mind you these are initial few thousand KMs of usage. Suspension is super intelligent and avoids body rolls, brakes give absolute confidence as I had to make sudden brake from 105 Km/h to 0 in less than 2 seconds which Kicks handled with ease, its high ground clearance also means, you forget about potholes. The diamond cut 17 inch alloy wheels, its stylish V shaped grill, tinted glasses(Seltos and CRETA has it only in 20 lakhs variants) give good appeal. It's Mercedes Benz Engine Turbo mated with priceless CVT gear box gives the best in class power (156 PS no other SUV in the category has) and comfort. The interiors are not class leading at the same time it has implemented all essential stuff like AC Vents, dials, audio(btw, excellent quality stock speakers 4+2), steering mounted controls good quality and not confusing enough. Bought XVD Pre kicks this month (sep 2019). When I took the car out first time from showroom, I realized a vibration in 30-50 speed. Couple of days later called Nissan showroom people. They asked me to bring the car and we went to the service center for checking. The technical team kept my kicks for a day and did all testing, they found the issue, but not able to find the core point that causes this problem. Now they asked me to drive for 1000 km and asked me to bring the kicks after that. The problem is still persists after 500 km. But I am feeling little nervous now.

I booked Magnite however when I looked at Kicks in showroom then and looked at its features compared to other car in segment it was best. I am driving 1.5 XV which is value for money and this car has definitely the best looks. Got the car inspected and service centre was helpful. Only thing Is for driving in city bumper to bumper traffic you might find steering bit hard however on highways its really smooth and comfortable ride.

Buying experience is very good. I like the driving looks and performance is amazing though servicing and maintenance is tiresome requires more service centres. complete returns of Money spends.

I bought this car for its brilliant value for money. It offers the best space for the money you can buy, it has decent safety with ESP (VDC) which is not offered by the competitors in this price range. I bought this for 12 Lakhs, If you want a Cross over SUV with ESP and Space such as Seltos or Creta it will be at least 18 lakhs on road. I saved around 6 lakhs and this vehicle is on-par, better in some areas such as the incredible ride quality. It misses on features like sunroof etc. but if you are someone who is looking for value this is one of the best.
