Isuzu India announces discounts of up to Rs 2 lakhs for the festive season

In an effort to boost sales during the festive season, Isuzu India is offering discounts of up to Rs 2 lakhs depending on the model. These offers are applicable on the ex-showroom prices and are valid until 31 October 2019. The discount offer ranges from Rs 50,000 for the commercial variant of the D-Max, while the premium SUV, the MU-X is available on a discount of Rs 2 lakhs. The company claims that the offers are available across all variants of the commercial D-Max and the S-Cab.  Additionally, the discount offer can be availed only on the base variant of the V-Cross. 

Speaking on the occasion, Capt. Shankar Srinivas, the company spokesperson said, “Isuzu would like its customers to be delighted and enter the festive season joyously. Our special offer which is valid until 31st October 2019 would excite our prospective customers to continue their focus on their business with added fervor and also bring excitement to their homes during the festive season”. 

The automobile industry has been witnessing a slowdown since the past few months due to many factors. The automobile manufacturers in the country have been requesting for relief in GST rates in order to improve buyer sentiments. As a result, the government recently announced a reduction in corporate taxes to 25.17 per cent from the earlier 30 per cent. It is believed that other car manufacturers are likely to pass on these benefits to its customers by lowering the prices over the next few days. 

Isuzu Motors India claims that irrespective of the government offers, the company has announced considerable discounts across the product line-up to keep an upbeat mood amongst prospective buyers during the forthcoming festive season.
