- Surge in price to be applicable across the range
- Price rise by up to two per cent owing to increasing input costs
बीएमडब्ल्यू Group India has announced that it will be revising and increasing the prices for all BMW and मिनी models starting from 4 January 2021. The rise will be up to two per cent across the entire range. The German car manufacturer attributes the increasing input cost to an escalation in the prices.
Currently, the company locally produces at its Chennai plant - the बीएमडब्ल्यू 2 सीरीज ग्रैन कूपे, बीएमडब्ल्यू 3 सीरीज, BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, बीएमडब्ल्यू 5 सीरीज, BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, बीएमडब्ल्यू 7 सीरीज, बीएमडब्ल्यू एक्स1, बीएमडब्ल्यू एक्स3, बीएमडब्ल्यू एक्स4, बीएमडब्ल्यू एक्स5, बीएमडब्ल्यू एक्स7, and मिनी कंट्रीमैन. Meanwhile, the models taking the CBU route include the बीएमडब्ल्यू 8 सीरीज Gran Coupe, बीएमडब्ल्यू एक्स6, बीएमडब्ल्यू ज़ेड4, बीएमडब्ल्यू एम2 Competition, बीएमडब्ल्यू एम5 Competition, बीएमडब्ल्यू एम8 Coupe, BMW X3 M, and BMW X5 M. The MINI 3-door, MINI 5-door, MINI Convertible, मिनी क्लबमैन and MINI John कूपर Works Hatch are also imported for the Indian market.
BMW has over 80 touchpoints with over 650 employees across the country. It also comprises of a parts warehouse in Mumbai and a training centre in Gurugram NCR.
