The Car is Excellent in terms of Driving, Comfort, Features. The service network is not very great though. The people keep changing and no one has been around for a long time as the brand is still new in the country. Many of the parts in the car are of cheap quality and replacements are little above reasonably priced. I have driven the 2021 CVT Petrol variant for 50k+ KM now. I have changed all the tyres and also all the 4 brakes (at 45k KM). Apart from that there have been few small things like Turbo pipe, engine intercooler pipe, ac vent tabs etc that had to be replaced, some under warranty and some out of pocket. Also had to recharge the AC gas only once at 50k KM. So overall the maintenance is not very expensive. The mileage in city is about 6 km/l and highway about 8 km/l, which is fair for a comparable heavy car. the price has gone up from 21lac to 26lac in a span of 3 years which was expected as the car felt cheaper than the build and features it provided. The infotainment which was the main selling point of a internet connected car is actually terrible. I never used the inbuilt navigation of map my India as it's never updated and GMaps is just way better and the gaana app is also very laggy so I stick to Spotify thru my Android Auto (wired only). The car offers very good safety, and you won't feel at all that it's a cheap light weight car. Overall it's a great package and deserves 5 star rating but I give 4 star as the service network is as important as the car itself and that's something the brand is still falling behind on.

First things first, MG Hector is an advanced technology SUV. It gets a very sleek design, spacious interiors and impressive performance. It gets best in class features like a massive touchscreen, huge panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS which works very well and a whole lot. It gets more features than high end SUVs considering the price it’s been offered at. Features like seat ventilation, driver and co-driver automatic seat adjustment, TPMS, connected car tech with 75+ features, use of soft touch material, LEDs, 360 degree camera with guidance, front and rear parking sensors, boot opening and closing with a button, chrome en all. I like the front massive grill which roars its presence on road. Looks amazing from the outside as well on the inside. Introduction of turn indicators with steering turn hasn’t been seen in any of the cars so far, which is very practical, as far the use of it goes. MG Hector all in all is a value for money car because of the features and specifications it has compared to its rivals. Overall, it’s a awesome SUV. So, one should invest in the drive of your dreams and transform every journey into an unforgettable adventure. On the other hand, the Touchscreen, at times, lags a bit when it comes to responsiveness. Camera quality can also be improved. Mileage could also be a point of concern for some buyers. I am sure MG would take care of these small challenges in the near future.

It's the best car in the segment!!! I've driven 8,000 kms in 6 months and here are my pointers : 1. Value for money. 2. Spacious, comfortable & effortless in driving. 3. Post-sales services are too good. MG does everything for its customers. You will even get many calls after the service to check on your car. 4. I don't know how people drive? I'm easily getting 10-11 km/l in the city and 16-17.5 km/l on highways. The key is to keep the car under 2000 rpm.

Very poor customer service, I have petrol sharp Hector. The clutch started vibrating after 15000 Km. Gave it for repair 4 times, but they were not able to fix it. I have mailed a complaint to MG.. but no use, no action is taken. I had to drive the car in the same condition.

Car in terms of strength, comfort, spacious, and luxury, road presence is undoubtedly the best, there are no second thoughts. But the biggest challenge is fuel economy in city, especially in metro cities, you can rarely achieve 7-7.5 & on highways around 9-9.5, I have seen many videos and taken advice on the correct driving pattern for CVT but this is the best I have been able to achieve. & their support from showroom & service center is excellent till now for me. but overall if you are making up your mind to go for a luxury car this car is apt as a perfect start and groom your mindset :)

Very comfortable and pleasure driving and Average is also good. sound system and instrument is too good in this vehicle segment. rear seat is also very comfortable and boot space is too good.

It is according to me very luxurious means when we sit in this car, we feel very royal and by itself, people give respect to means he/she is a very rich person. It needs maintenance.

The car seemed amazing for 1st 3 years of usage... From last major servicing done 60000 , twice the gearbox got locked in midway... Thanks to the RSA for prompt response. But I feel scared to use the car again...feel sad

The driving experience is good ..machine is smooth. The look is macho ..interior is outstanding.. the features are loaded ..! over all dhamaka product. ADAS features really made driving on highways comfortable..!
