I took delivery of my Maruti Suzuki Wagon R in August, and till now I have driven around 15,000 km, which gives me enough real-world experience to share a genuine owner’s review. Overall, I am very satisfied with the car. The addition of six airbags has made a big difference to my confidence while driving. Compared to the older dual-airbag setup, this feels like a proper safety upgrade. My son loves sitting in the co-driver seat, and as a parent, that extra layer of protection gives me peace of mind. One aspect I truly love is the boot space. For a hatchback, it is surprisingly large and extremely practical. Whether it’s grocery runs, weekend luggage, or family trips, the boot easily handles it without feeling cramped. This practicality makes the Wagon R ideal for daily use as well as travel. Mileage has been excellent even with almost daily driving. I frequently drive through the Western Ghats, and the car feels comfortable on curves and inclines. I have also completed a 700 km drive in a single day, and the upright seating position kept fatigue to a minimum. There are a few improvements I would like to see. The AC could be more powerful, the headlights are not sufficient for night driving, and cruise control would have been a nice addition for long highway drives. Apart from these points, the Wagon R has been reliable, comfortable, and highly practical, making it a great family car overall.

High-speed stability on highways is not very confidence-inspiring, and the car lacks some modern features that competitors offer in the same price range. Safety features are basic, especially in lower variants. Overall, the Wagon R is a sensible choice for practical users, but it may disappoint those who prioritise style, performance, and premium feel.

It's beautiful in segments. As looks wise... as a driver... As comfort level.... Perfect... No comparison when I drive it, there is no tiredness on a long drive route... And it's a familiar car, like a member of the family.

Driving Experience maintenance easy and smooth I like car comfort. Performance wise good very less engine noise. Easy pick up suitable for bumper to bumper traffic. Light steering experience. Smooth gear change.

Overall good, but ground clearance should be increased to a minimum of 190mm for off-roading. The front seat suspension is good. Back seat suspension should be comfortable. Fuel economy is good.

Very good driving experience and comfortable, I liked the interior space very much for the front as well as for the back passenger. The height of the interior is also very good, like an SUV, which is more comfortable for the person who is tall.
