I had purchased this car on May 2023 clocked 24,000 kms till date. No electronics / mechanical issues faced so far. Parts are meant to last. I also did 4.5k Kms of road journey from Bhubaneswar to Goa and back. Even did Hyderabad to Bhubaneswar in a single run. City mileage-11 Highways-14-15 Km/l if driven between 80-90 KMPH. Service cost is around 5k. Better purchase it if 2 people are using it on daily basis with the Automatic (TC) gearbox. And lastly a capable off roader.

Though Mahindra should have added some armrests and extra storage to the interior to make it more comfortable, the Mahindra Thar's strong engine still offers great off-road capability. This contemporary four-seater SUV is quite popular because of its eye-catching look and all-wheel drive, but adding four discs would? Also enhanced brake bite. Although it has a very low mileage, the petrol engine is incredibly powerful, beautiful, and great for off-roading.

Long waiting period at showroom made me to go for used car. Got very good deal and car in good condition. I have driven almost 12000Km in last one year and it's my daily usage car to my office, farm and long trips to my native. Road presence is excellent and catches everyone attention whether it's in the city or you go to a village. Ride quality is excellent, however we can notice the gear shift as its AMT. This could have been improved. Excellent Pick-up, Long drive, Tensionless on bad roads saves 10-15% of travel time compared to any sedan for the same distance and road. Due to heavy tyre attached to back door, expect noise on rubble strips and big pathholes. When second row is occupied, noise from behind reduces. Excellent road grip and control. Bluetooth connectivity is not great. While many cars are getting sold, Service centers and support is not increased in the same proportion, that hampers service experience. I managed to get 18KMPL on high way and 12+ in city.

The Thar was seriously very beautiful looking...and the engine....oh my goodness just one of the best engines I have driven. It can go at any terrain. The variant I drove was the petrol automatic which was a splendid powertrain.

Overall the car is value for money and if Mahindra gives a larger boot space I can challenge that the Thar will be the no.1 suv in India. Performance is quite awesome, especially in bumpy roads.

Travel in any roads and reach your goals. The Thar is the best jeep we can use in off roads and on roads love it and anyone once drive this jeep they will not forget in their life.
