S204 Preview
Mahindra is working on a new seven-seater crossover of the XUV300, which has been codenamed as the S204. The model will be based on the Ssangyong Tivoli XLV, similar to the XUV300 that is based on the regular Tivoli.
Mahindra is working on a new seven-seater crossover of the XUV300, which has been codenamed as the S204. The model will be based on the Ssangyong Tivoli XLV, similar to the XUV300 that is based on the regular Tivoli.
Powertrain options on the upcoming Mahindra S204 could include a set of 1.5-litre turbocharged direct injection petrol and diesel engine. While the petrol motor will be an all new unit, the diesel mill will be similar to the unit seen on the XUV300 and the Marazzo.
The model is expected to be unveiled for the European market in 2022 and hence it can be safe to assume that the model could hit Indian shores sometime in 2021. Once launched, the new Mahindra S204 will be positioned above the XUV300 and would rival against the likes of the Hyundai Creta.
