I had best drive after reviewing features etc for each model. The model chosen was HTK Plus 7 DCT. The pros are a) It is spacious than any car in the comparable range, especially the 2nd row has slide and recline facility. b) The headroom is adequate for 6 feet plus people c) The under thigh support in both rows of seats is very good d) The boot space is more than adequate to about 390 cft in full back and reclined condition and a max of 480 cft e) auto hold helps in traffic in cities. f) the view of the bonnet is clear when the seat is adjusted for shorter peoole. g) the panoramic sun-roof is a plus for a pleasure drive. Cons are a) There is no rear windshield wiper in this variant, b) the headlights are at the corner and are susceptible to damage in city traffic though this can be taken care using the front and rear sensors and c) the mileage is lower than comparative cars in the same range. Overall it is a value for money option for people selecting a compact MUV.

Good car for family tours as well as for long drives, comfort on top level, with good space available, good service also had a good driving experience, performance, and overall look.

I am a proud owner of Kia Syros.. My 1st long ride experience was really very good.. 962 km and with 2 hrs traffic I got 17.3 kmpl and got 21 kmpl in last 98 km run... Amazing ride

The drive is a little stiff in the city. The car has an issue with airbags not activating. It has road presence and great space for the family. The car is better only if you have more highway use than city use.

I have HTKO, it’s the best for riding in the city and on the highway. No body shake at all. Very well-adjusted body chassis. I have driven only 2400 kms average is getting low now as new engine, but after 10k kms I know I will get the best of it, because it's KIA. Previously, I was having an XUV 500AT, but this car is very spacious and comfortable. Very premium feel that no other car is giving. I have tested Škoda Kodiaq, I felt very good in it, but when I sat in Syros, it was full of surprises.

The seats are very comfortable and good, solid feel in the car. Polarizing looks, but still better than losing out in the crowd. It does have its own identity. Pros: You will feel amazing driving this car, Great features inside, more than sufficient back seat space. Cons: Some Bodyroll, suspension could be better.

Don't buy this muv if you are middle class. It's very costly and provides poor value. The price is very high, and it requires high maintenance. My experience with purchasing it was very bad; it resembles a Maruti Suzuki Eeco van.

I am driving Kia Syros HTK base trim. After the 1st service and later 2000 km on ODO, the petrol manual is getting better. Mileage on highways, if we maintain less than 2000 rpm with proper gear shifting, 23 kmpl is observed. Overall, a 200 km trip on the highway is 21 kmpl as per ODO. Within the city, like Hyderabad, under mild traffic conditions, if we maintain rpm at less than 1.3k, observed mileage is 16 to 18 kmpl. If we are in bumper traffic conditions, it ranges from 9 to 16 depending on traffic.Syros is offered with soft suspension; elder family members can sit, ingress and egress easily, and they can feel better in city and highway rides. Suspension is not too hard-hitting and acts better at speeds. HTK trim rear seat support, leg room, and knee room are very good—better than Brezza and Nexon. As the design is boxy, it is passenger- and interior-friendly and very attractive. For drivers, there are no blind spots. Steering gives confidence at speeds as it gets tight enough. Body roll is not very much; nothing to worry about under 100 km/h. Better not to drive hard; let's slow down.The TGDI engine is very lenient in 1st and 2nd gear for traffic conditions; you do not find any jump kind of feeling. Within the city under 1.2k rpm, mostly the turbo won't activate. Even if it activates, it's fine. At this, it is mileage-friendly. On highways, TGDI is no compromise on overtakes, speed, and confidence. It is a very pleasurable ride. Gearbox is smooth, and clutch is easy to press. In fact, within the city, occasional driving is your choice, meaning opt for manual. It benefits mileage and is enjoyable.Design is boxy and looks like Wagon R. Kia has designed it very practically; this car enhances passenger comfort and safety. Its design is not so aerodynamic, but if you see it from side angles, this car is totally unique and futuristic rather than ugly. Kia Syros always gives the feel of a new design when seen on the road. Take a test drive and check it out once if you are planning to buy a car. While buying, if you are a family man and want the best rear seat comfort, then for long-term usage, Kia Syros HTK under 10 lakhs budget is, I will say, the best choice among hatchback segment cars and SUV rivals like Brezza, Nexon, and Venue.

I am using a Kia Syros HTK purchased on Mar 22nd 2025, from Malik Kia Hyderabad at an on-road cost of 10.88 in including accessories like floor mats, seat covers and a few garnish elements. Over Tata Nexon and Skoda Kylaq, why I chose Kia Syros is because the budget is under 11 lakhs, I am getting this car with my required features like HD rear camera, 8 parking sensors, ORVM electric adjustable, safety features like TPMS, Hill hold assist, centre arm rest for driver, traction control, etc. The rear seat is best among the Tata Nexon and Skoda Kylaq for 3 adults. Design is slightly polarised, but more practical as the small engine Kia has done a great job to utilise the space well. Clutch and gearbox are my favourites. No issues faced so far regarding reverse gear or anything. Very handy as well. Whereas Tata Nexon many are facing issues with the reverse gear same goes for the Mahindra 3xo. The clutch is smooth. Engine performance is a beast for its mid-range. I generally cruise at 60 to 80 or 80 to 100 kmpl maximum. Recent trip of 550kms, getting 17kmpl on the highway. In the City, huge Traffic gets a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 14 kmpl. But mostly observing tank to tank in the city, 12kmpl. Overall mileage-wise wise good figures better than Tata Nexon. Suspension is good, well contained for highway and city rides, and comfortable. Slightly stiffer side than the Kia Sonet.
