My car got fire in the rare seat socket. I never used that socket.. my car is under extended warranty but still honda didn't accept my claim. I mailed every one they made me to keep my car for 10 days and said they can't help it.

I bought my new Honda city vx from cherish Honda gurgaon. The experience was smooth. No long waiting period unlike Creta and kia. One of the classiest sedan till date in market unlike the rat race for current mid SUVs. Performance is good and fuel economy is much better than mid SUVs. I preferred it over Verna because of its comfort and its bold statement. It's feature loaded and have ample of rear seat space. Plus built quality is better than many mid sized SUVs. The only compromise is on touch screen infotainment system. But I can ignore it comparing all other features.

I bought the 5th Gen City ZX MT in Nov 20 and have driven it since then. I have self driven the car for almost 12K Kms mostly in Kolkata. I have not taken the car to the highway so far. Till date I find the car to be suitable for the city conditions. The handling is precise and it will go where you want it to go. Although the car is pretty big but it can squeeze itself into tight spaces and you just have to point the steering to where you want to go. The engine is quite suited to the sudden acceleration and braking that is a trademark of the city drives. But the braking could have been better and there is quite an amount of brake noise when the brakes are pressed hard. My SA told me that it is due to the ABS but I doubt. Also there is quite a bit of tire noise from the wheels when driven hard. May be it will go away when the tyre profile is increased from 185 to 195. The car has a big car feel to it and looks very good specially at night with the lights on. The body seems to be a bit on the lighter side and any minor bump or scratch will definitely create a dent or peel off the paint. However, there is a certain aura to the Honda City badge and people do refer to that all the time that the person has arrived in a Honda City and people automatically assume that you are a class above the Maruti's and the Hyundai's. I feel like a celebrity when I park my car and get down from it in the parking lot. Overall I love my City and I feel proud to be the owner of one.

Jerky movement was reported to Honda Service center, they told that clutch has been burnt. My vehicle has run only 1500 km. Within this short period how a clutch burnt. Earlier Swift vehicle i drove more than 1 lakh km, still clutch plate is intact. As the vehicle is self driven and experienced driving, there should not be any problem with rough driving. What kind of spares Honda using and what kind of quality control! Honda denied to replace the clutch plate. Please don't buy this car.

I Purchased Honda City in August 2021 from Sundaram Honda, Nandanam, Chennai with a hope of enjoying this as a good var. But my thoughts were in vain. Right from the first day my driving experience was horrible. AC not working, Bad plastic smell inside the car causing skin allergy .Interiors are not good, Leg mat is worst design, Driver seat is not rigid-it is getting shaky while driving and its position changes automatically. While putting seat belt, the rear boot door is opening automatically while driving. It is very difficult to open the Petrol knob. The mileage is very poor-mileage is 10 kms only per litre during long drives, In city condition it is giving 6.5 kms only. Today fuel gauge also is not working, I put 9 litres petrol but fuel gauge showing no Petrol. All the issues highlighted to the Sundaram Honda Sales Person, he did not give any solution. One day he asked to come to service. I went to their service centre at Nandanam, Their service personnel told that all the above problems can not be solved, this is not their responsibility. Once car is sold they will not take any responsibility and not even interested to highlight this issues with their higher officials and Honda City Car maker. Even they have not done 1st service also. I given 1st service to Olympia Honda. Earlier I was using Nissan Sunny Car-Diesel , it was giving 25 kms per liter after 8 years also. Now I fed-up with this Honda City, even I am thinking that to sell off this Honda City because of their no service and no customer satisfaction after sales. I request this car maker also should note this problems and solve this issues if their dealer fails.

A well balanced car with an amazing engine to drive. The CVT is most reliable and the iVtech engine is very powerful in sports mode - amazing comfort with a mileage of 12 city -18 highway Luxury seating with the best in class comfort - better than the Creta and Kia Seltos in terms of comfort The ground clearance is not a major issue as I travel in remote location with Maharashtra state quite often A complete family car with amazing space and a smooth car to drive within city and on highway as well - ivtech roar is the plus point :) Best decision I made in this SUV crazed era was to buy a Honda City.

Its negative points are; ride quality on damaged roads is not good we can feel it inside cabin and second point it's AVN audio system is problematic totally freezed with in 2 years. Max complaints are with AVN ISSUES at dealer end. I registered the complainant on dated 12/09/2020 but galaxy honda jalandhar has changed the dates of replacement 5 to 6 times present given date is last week of December 2020 who's is also depends upon availablelity of AVN at that time as on dated 25/11/2020 my no is 16th as per dealer's statement. So think twice before buying this car as earlier I had also blind confidence on Honda cars for its perfectness and service.

1. Buying experience was not very good, i think they have lack of information. 2. I am a proud owner of this car, ridding experience is very pleasant and i am satisfied with this car. 2. Performance is awesome. 4. Only 1 servicing done. 5. It covers most features in it's base model itself, very less noise. Cons:- tyre pressure monitoring system is not good at all, you need to recalibrate the sensor after filling air in the tyres, it doesn't off automatically.

1. Buying experience was nice. Showroom officials respect us. 2. Best luxury and premium car in this segment. This is the best petrol engine in this segment(ivtec). The engine is more reliable. It's revs. You can feel like a ship inside this car. Power is more than enough. 3. Inspired by its looks. Performance is best. But ground clearance is low. They have given the ground clearance for foreign roads which is not applicable for Indian roads. 4. Service cost is extremely high. Got fuel pump , ac , infotainment system issues which they charged a lot. 5. Pros- Best petrol engine and best in class looks comfort and luxury. Cons -Service cost. Fuel pump issues. Ground clearance.
