It was in 2021 just a few months before Ford exits the Indian market. Before buying it, considered 8 vehicles and finally decided to go with ES. I have been waiting for 3 months and many times I have escalated and received my vehicle on March 25. It was a great experience getting my first vehicle. In terms of driving, it gives me more pleasure whenever I take it for a drive. It never missed exiting me. Performance was good and it took some time to understand the vehicle. The mileage I get is 17 kmpl inside City and 19-20 kmpl on Highways. At first, I was skeptical when Ford exited, but then I never felt any issues in terms of service and spares. The care from service centers is still very good. The first service at 2.5K km was free, 10K service is 2.4K, 20K service cost 6K, and 30K service cost me 10,500 (this is because I opted for a 7500 plan which covers 2 periodic services together + AC Duct cleaning which cost 1000). So basically 3750 per service and the remaining for some extra spares like AC, Air, and Diesel filters. Till now on average the cost per service is 4.5 to 5K for 40K km (as I paid already in the plan for 40K service). The major thing I felt good about was handling, looking, and comfort in the driver's seat as I am 6.2 ft, this perfectly fits me and doesn't hit my knees or head at any time. The only disadvantage I felt was less space in the rear but I never got complaints from my family. Instead, we feel that makes us sit compact without much jerks and movements. Rear AC vents are not there but the AC throughput is very good which is more sufficient. Value for money and no unnecessary fancy stuff which I don't like to have as those will make me unnecessary expenses and maintenance in the future. Overall a great car.
