now, i think fiat has stopped it's production, it is strongly built, you can feel it's as heavy on the road, not suitable for bumper to bumper traffic,highly suitable for high way driving because it has good pick up from 3rd and fourth gears, initial pick up is low, gives 20 kmpl mileage in highways, in city it gives 12 kmpl mileage. hyadralic steering makes driving realistic and you can enjoy the driving. i love fiat linea.

Running 46K, Purchased in June 2016 Buying: SkyMoto, Pune provided me very flexible assistance and allowed me a variety of test rides - In city, on rough road, on highway with different load experience. This was my demand and the sales team was ready for that. I tested Petrol as well as Diesel version. Dealer provided me banking finance assistance. I conducted pre-dispatch inspection for the car allocated for me before the documents go to RTO for registration. Everything was up to the mark. Riding: Engine pulls automatically to maintain the required speed in a respective gear in city ride which reduces the frequent gear shift. No lag even before the turbo kicks off. Thanks for improved tunning. Highway - Very stable while highspeed drive. I usually drive with 140-150 Km/hr whenever traffic permits me. Complete control due to powerful breaking with EBS, EBD. Feels so powerful in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear. Cruise Contol makes me more comfortable for the longer run. Looks: Sturdy and unique look from Fiat. Interior is decent. Cabin decoration lights are provided with the thought not to distract the driver from road visibility, Performance: Linea is superior. I tested all the vehicles mostly for six months. I found competitive feel only in Scoda rapid. Servicing: Once a year or 15000 km and really it proved for me. I never ever have to visit the service center in between. Once done. Forget it. Maintenance: The service cost for total three years may be around 20K. Which may be less than other brands which has 10K run or 6 monthly cycles. Pros: - Ride is smooth, Powerful turbo, and AC. - Once turbo kicks off.. you are in JET flight. - Decent music system. Owner can replace to required specification. - Seats are spacious with super fine leather. - Mileage: In City I get 15 Km/lit, On highway I get between 18 to 24. it depends upon at what speed I drive. I get 28 Km/lit if I drive between 60 to 70 km/hr with cruise control on. Cons: - No AMT (those who are looking for). Personally, I enjoy manual transmission. I can accelerate to my desired RPM before I engage the gear. - Tyres are costly for the size 205, 55 R16. Maybe due to required quality to sustain the weight and speed for these category vehicles. Advise to Fiat car owners: Please be patient on servicing since only one center in Pune. Just give them a few more hours to get the service done superiorly.

I hv purchased Fiat linea diesel emotion in October 2015. I have driven 90000 kms till date . Excellent riding quality . Awesome interior and exterior looks . Amazing performance . Parts are costly thts why maintenance cost is high . Excellent car . Awesome suspension system .comfort level is too high . U will never regret after buying it . So without any hesitation go for it .

Exterior A design which you can live with all the life.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) All freaturs are there and if you want a feture full car buy a hyundai and forget the performance.

Ride Quality & Handling Again a plus point of this car due to above reasons.

Final Words LET ME MAKE THIS REALLY SIMPLE : If you like to drive a sedan go with this car and if you like a driver to drive your vehicle go for Honda city.

Areas of improvement REAR SEATS AND PARKING CAMERA REQUIRED. This car gives you the best petrol engine in this segment, longest wheelbase in this segment, widest and largest wheels in this segment, 3 quotes colour layers used 1st in the segment, cruze control system again 1 st in the segment.

T-Jet engine, Italian seats, Disc brakes on all wheels, widest and longest wheels.Rear seat head space and leg room is lessor than it's rivals.

Exterior The New Linea Looks good especially after the rear has been changed with the new number plate being push to the Boot Lid.The chrome and liberally used chrome does add a good feel to the car. Still feel the handles should be full chrome. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Looks great Inside with the new Soft Touch Dash and Nicely Finished Dash Board.Music System Design looks but yes gives a mix of classic and modern looks.The back seat is very comfortable and this car is among the forty cars I drove before buying which has both driver's and rear seat passengers equal comfort.

As I said you do get a premium Feel.Look at the roof when you get inside and from the fabric used you will be able to judge difference between this car and the other cars in terms of premium feel.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Yes it does have a Turbo Lag at lower Gears and feels sluggish in initial pick up.but post that its a fun to drive vehicle. Have minimal noise inside the cabin and does give a very smooth ride.The fuel economy clocked on Mumbai-Pune Expressway was 21km/l and City average is 14km/l at an average speed of 22km. The gera is rubbery but is smooth.

Ride Quality & Handling The best drive for Fiat is on the open roads and it is a very comfortable car to drive. I havent had the luxury of sitting at the back but on the feedback has been good for pillion riders.A small point to add is that Linea is an easier car to get in and get out of it and it is an important features especially for the elders.  

Final Words I would say if people are out there to decide to buy a goof product and dont go out to buy just the brands,Fiat will offer them a surprise as was evident with my collegues who bought other brands in this segment.

Areas of improvement Definately require more service centres.Still need to expereince their service levels.

Premium Feel,Heavy Car,Cruise Control & Other Advanced Feel Good FeaturesLong Clutch Play,Infamous Turbo Lag in Lower Gears

It has been 9 years since I bought this car and till date had never been disappointed had it been a highway, a hill, a muddy puddle or a grassland. T-jet at that point in time was too futuristic as now cars come with those features. It's performance has been up to the mark. It sprints dashes and climbs and pounces over the other cars on the road. I have not found any competitor of the car till date in terms of performance and handling over the road. Looks are too decent and it performs like a bad guy. Just the regular servicing will keep it as good as new. And built like a tank, gets no dents whereas tearing away the bumper of the other car. Cost of maintenance is quite low. The only issue I had to face is after 8 years the ac had to undergo gas refilling and a little more maintenance. Otherwise the car is as good as new still. This is a beast in a good boy outfit. ??

I bought Linea petrol from a Colonel Doctor. It's dashboard is made of poor quality materials. The AC was not working, got replaced by KVR, Calicut. It failed in less than 3,000km in 6 months. Performance of the engine is bad & pulling is poor. Goes off periodically. Service people say it's accelerator sensor need replacement and it would cost over 60,000!!! Had it been a cable, I would have changed for a truffle. I want to sell it but nobody comes for it. Regret buying Linea. Fiat & their service are poor.

Final Words Car is good but not the dealers.

Areas of improvement  FIAT Cars are really good but dealers should be more aggresive to bring out the product. Absoultely Sales Head is not at all bothered (Why should he? as long as he is paid like a govt job???) about the customers visiting the showroom, he didnt even leaves his chair and comes to the customer to explain about the car. We should look at the cars ourselves like orphans. This should change due these kind heartless people Fiat is loosing its market in India.

The attitude of the Sales Manager is very pathetic and not customer friendly, recently i booked a Fiat Linea. The sales manager till getting the advance from me he was calling the whole day. After that he never called me rather he rejected my calls. However I continued to go ahead and book the car ONLY BECAUSE OF THE SALES EXECUTIVE Mr. RAHUL due to his very friendly approach. I dont know who is managing the delearship Must meet them. Plz share the contact of the MD of Ramkay fiat.

 What a fantastic flowing design, a bit feminine, slow and elegant design, not a wide body hence can squeeze in traffic easily between 2 vehicles 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 long car, enough leg space for a 6.1 ft guy like me, quality of plastic is definitely good, contrast is good, no Aux in old models is bad, dashboard could be a bit more brighter and wider

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 for a heavy car of 1200 kgs 1.3 l engine is a bit low, but makes it up with 90 NM, fuel econom- i have got 18-19 km/l on pune expressway and in city 14 km/l, gear is smooth, joy stick can be re done

Ride Quality & Handling

 diesel engine needs to be driven on 1st gear to get it going, handling is smooth especially on traffic conditions, high turning radius is a set back- always need to reverse to get into mall parking which is winding and also on narrow intersections.

Final Words

 A car which can last comfortably for 1.5 lakh kms, classy, evergreen design, build quality and weight, at 50k kms and 3.5 yrs no part replaced.

Areas of improvement  

 Turning Radius is not good now, a bit more power for initial torque, low ground clearance (mine is 2012 model), Service centers must improve their customer interaction...! Balaji service sucks! Work is okay but other things are bad.
