I drove from Chennai to Bangalore. Drove normally (meaning on open road, 115 km speed, but average only 65 or so due to traffic, toll, congestion, etc. Doors require a serious thud to close. BMW says the car can charge at 130KW speed, but somehow it was charging only at 63KW today. Is it a flaw or a false narrative? I don’t know. Overall: I won’t take it out of town very much, but Chennai to Bangalore is very comfortably doable with this car because of ChargeZone (~180 kms from Satyabama University). There are some 16 charging points all giving 240KW, so if your car can take it, you can charge up pretty fast. We didn’t think about range ever, since we have a nice mid-point super fast charging option now. |
