This is one of the best SUV EVs you can buy in India. Drives like a sports car while feeling like a comfortable large SUV. Real-world range is over 400km and goes over 450km as well when drive at an 80- 90 kph speed range. The faster you go, the faster the battery drains. Goes 0-100 in less 4.5 secs. Only thing I would watch out is the charging network of fast chargers- it's really bad in India. Most societies have 4-5A limited charges which can take 14 hours to charge this car. The marketing of 18-20 min fast charging does just meed car which supports it but actual available fast chargers which is like unicorns. New highways have the worst EV charging infrastructure. So dont expect to go on unplanned long drives. The back seat space is amazing. The car is much wider and more spacious than even cars in 1-1.4 Cr range

It isn't perfect—the brand still lacks the prestige of traditional luxury manufacturers, and the real-world range can vary significantly. However, considering its performance, features, technology, and value, the BYD Sealion 7 Anniversary Edition AWD is one of the most compelling electric SUVs currently available in India. The instant acceleration is addictive—smooth, silent, and very confidence-inspiring, especially during city drives and quick highway overtakes. Handling feels planted, and the low center of gravity makes cornering stable and predictable. The ride quality is comfortable even on Gurgaon’s uneven roads, and cabin insulation is excellent. The Atlantis Grey colour looks premium and classy, turning heads without being flashy. Interior quality, tech features, and overall refinement feel well above expectations for the segment. If you want strong performance with EV efficiency and premium road presence, the Sealion 7 Performance delivers impressively.
