Chinese car manufacturer Great Wall Motors is set to enter the Indian market with the Haval brand. Haval will mark its debut in the country with the H6 SUV. The Haval H6 shares a lot of design cues with the Haval H9 full-size SUV. It carries an imposing two-box design and comes across as a butch SUV. Prominent design elements include LED projector headlamps with DRLs, a hexagonal radiator grille, multi-spoke machined alloys, body claddings and LED stop lamps.
The Haval H6 will be loaded with features like a nine-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, powered front seats, keyless entry with push-button start and heated steering wheel. It also gets a 360-degree camera, blind-spot detection, lane departure warning and electronic stability program among other things. Moreover, the interiors have a touch of inspiration from Audi with the extended AC vents and a virtual cockpit-like instrument cluster.
Mechanically, the Haval H6 gets 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre T-GDI engines. The former makes 161bhp and 280Nm while the latter pumps out 188bhp and 340Nm. Both the powertrains are paired with a seven-speed DCT.
