Ford Freestyle is probably the Fords best yet in India within Price Bracket of 15 Lac and whichever market it launched globally...yes it is better than Ford Ecosport and one of the most value for Money car. People have this myth about Ford's Maintenance Cost and lack of Service availability but Trust me....with this Car you feel secure in more than many ways:- Pros 1. Robust Build Quality way better than Hyundai, Suzuki, Honda matches German rivals like Volkswagon & Volvo...thumping sound of Doors assures you of safety...Heavily built with minimal blind spot 2. Weight of 1062-1080...Car remains well planted even at High Speeds 3. Major Safety Features of Bigger SUV's like 4 Airbags including Curtain, ABS, EBD, ARP (not even available in Eco-sport), Hill Assist, Traction Control, Cruise Control, Alloy Wheels, Negligible / No Body Roll though misses out on 4*4....no brand offers it below 25 Lac....Safety Guaranteed 4. Superb Power to Gear Ratio....resulting in Power Delivery at 1200-1400 RPM...1.5 Ltr Diesel is performance machine and Petrol is peppy too 5. Best in Quality & Use of Plastic Materials in Interiors...Cushioned Seats...Good Leg Space & ample Headroom for 6 feet Tall 6. Despite being a Heavy Vehicle....no compromise in Mileage....City 18-20 & Highway 27-32 (Diesel)....City 13-14 & Highway 16 - 19 (Petrol) 7. Car remains planted and stays in control even at 160 kmph speed which is phenomenal 8. Low Cost of Maintainence....5000/ Per Year on Higher Side....due to Made in India parts now 9. Good Ground Clearance...190 MM 10. Superb Infotainment System with Apple Car Play, Android Auto, Reverse Parking Camera and Sensors. Keyless Entry, Sync 3 connectivity 11. Well Priced across Models...even base variants comes with 2 Airbags as Standard 12. Diesel only for those whos Monthly Running is 1500km and want power from their machine....Driver's Car 13. Petrol Engine is also peppy and affordable too 14. Practical Features with ample storage options 15. 40 Litres Tank Capacity....with Diesel its a non-stop wagon on long trips Cons 1. Color Tone of Interior makes it Dark....its personal opinion 2. Smaller & Narrow Tyres...185/60R15 Tyres....its should 205-215 16 Inch Tyres...for better Road Grip 3. Projector / LED Headlamps / DRL's missing 4. Sun-roof....though in Indian weather....there is no need of Sun-Roof 5. Re-sale Value of Ford....though it would still stand tall even after 15 years...so can be forgiven 6. No Rear AC Vents....though with 1.5 Ton Air Conditioning...u don't feel its a miss 7. Misses out on AMT / CVT / DSG Box....though Automatic compromises on Mileage & Power when its needed
