    Exterior

I like the curves FIGO has and this looks like a mini fusion when looks from behind. front is quite gud with full roll over body. Th eonly drawback in it's design is a tapered roof at the back. An inch or two more flatness on the curve could change the image of the Car

    Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

The interiors are roomy in first instance. All the things are placed just at appropriate place except for Boot opener (which is paced at the co-paseenger side0 and the position of wipers and turning indicators (on european standards).

The dash in ebony (black) is gud to feel but not the coral. Thanks to Ford thatthey haven't produced grey interiors (inspite of cost cutting), however i too think that if they produce 2-tone interiors as that of Fiesta - then that would be a class in itself.

The rear window though scroll down to only 40% but a gud airy atmospheric touch has been provided by doing some decent desinging.

The Air con is aboslute chille (and as per my likings :) ).

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Engine is not as peppy as of Swift and Ritz but it's neither sluggish. the car is gud and best suited to run in any indian city conditions. it's low end torque is just ok for driving in delhi roads. i TD on patchy roads and the pickup is ok even at speed of 10 in 2nd gear.

The gear shift is a bit messy to start on but later on it's nice to feel the box.

FE as per the sales manager lies in 15-17 but considering the engine and others i think it shoud fall somehwere in 12-14 in city.

    Ride Quality & Handling

The ride quality is ok if not excellent. The suspension holds gud on the worst patchy roads (where i did TD) and no bouncy nature is observed at the rear seats as well. The rear leg room is just sufficient for my likings. though the thigh support does feel to be streached a bit more (say may be 1-2 inches)

    Final Words

The Figo’s got great big-car feel. The ride is one of the best in class, good at both low and high speeds. It’s very stable at three digit speeds and you can see Ford’s ‘driver’s car’ DNA in it. The steering is light and nicely weighted for city use, though there’s not much feel at speed, it’s still nice and accurate.

The Figo is one of the biggest B-segment cars in India. It’s longer than the Swift, has a longer wheelbase than the Fusion. Interior space is good, but not great, especially at the rear. Still, the seats make up by being very supportive, and seat height and back support are good as well. Rear seat comfort is especially good and Ford has made good use of the leg room under the front seats.

I have booked the 1.2 Zxi on the basis as follows:

    (1) Price - 4.31 for Zxi, which lags just ABS / Airbags / 6-way wiper from the top end (i.e.-TITANIUM).
    (2) Big boot space in the segment (only exceptionally larger than VW-POLO) - 284 liters---simply WOW.
    (3) 2-DIN in built stereo with bluetooth compatibility upto 4 phones.
    (4) Height adjustable driving seat.
    (5) Good inside fabric.
    (6) Exceptionaly strong AC (159cc compressor).
    (7) Rear Defogger
    (8) Rear Wiper.
    (9) Body Coloured outside mirrors.
    (10) Body Coloured Door handles.
    (11) Electrically outside mirrors (both side).
    (12) Radial and tubeless tires on all varients.
    (13) Features are same in both petrol and diesel.

    Areas of improvement

    (1) Lack of automatic climate control in top end as well. - this is essential when one considering the compressor figo stays with.
    (2) Rear window should be scrolled down to full - currently it doesn't scroll down more than 40% of the total.
    (3) No rear power window.
    (4) Suspension is though Ok but could be better - i guess VW-polo is the best hatch in this segment when look for suspension.
    (5) No tilt stearing in top end as well.
    (6) No Spilt seats in rear.
    (7) Bonet opener should be in driver place (rather than at co-passenger side) when considering that boot opener is placed in the dash itself - just below the stearing wheel in right side.
    (8) wiper and indicators should be in accordance with RHD. currently they are opposite to the standard conventionals (same in VW-POLO as in FIGO).

Price, boot space, powerfull AC, Rear Defogegr and wiper etc.....No Split setas 60:40, No Tilt Stearing, Boot Opener
