Exterior Exteriod is the best part of FORCE ONE SUV, as its stylish, seems inherited from GMC and CHEVROLET foreign models, Day ligh LED adds on top of it. In a way, it can be regarded as an eye-turner car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) In terms of space interior is excellent, with ample leg space, good luggage capacity; however seat comfort & quality needs improvement.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine being a Mercedes one is excellent with hastle free, trust worthy on long drives, average is 12-14.

Ride Quality & Handling Infact for 200-300 kms of journey even, it lets you as fresh as you drove 50-60 kms only. So, you can very well amazing about the riding and driving comfort.
Stearing mounted controls for multimedia lets handling music without diverting attention on music system, so safe driving. Also cruze control on driving works flawless, and lets you keep you leg away from accelerator lever on long drives, which is amazing comfort for driving on highways.

Final Words All I could say is that I am "98% satisfied"; and 2% kept empty as people get puzzled to see non-popular brand.

Areas of improvement FORCE MOTORS needs improvement in interior designing, better seat comfort, better sound quality speakers with music system.

Exterior, Power, Soft Handling, Ample Leg space in all 3 rowsAuto Gear variant non-available, Seats are ordinary only

Exterior is excellent tell me can u get any suv with so many features at this price, I will say only force one,i think it is going to be a big hit inn india as it has no rival ,tell me any suv in this range with so many features  and such a good engine, I am sure there will be none u can think of.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It is very spacious and very well equiped and over all a very good package,i dont think there is any match but critics are always there, and if u look at the car u will raely find no flaws at this price .u want to spend more money double this price and u can go for hyundai santa fe but double the price with almost the same features which u get in force one.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Better than tata aria as they are using the same old 2.2 dicor engine in all vehicles ,if they start using the the new engines it would then pose a real competatior.

good suv at great pricenone i can think of

Test Drove the Force 1 SUV today.

Before the review let me begin with my experience as a buyer.

      1. their website does not work on the phone.

      2. on a sunday no one in their dealership picks up the phone, though dealer is open for sales!

      3. wrote an email with feedback to the management, Prompt response and immidiate follow up..

So seems the company is hungry for business, but needs marketing support with basis.. e.g. the name of their executive on the website is spelt with two "Mr." (reads Mr. Mr. xxxxx).

Exterior Looks sturdy and big. Could do with a smaller logo on the grill.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious, seats are not so good.. dont give the feeling of plush comfort.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Torque is good, engine noise is ok for a diesel.

Ride Quality & Handling Negatives: test vehicle had done 840 Kms only but

      1. the steering wheel is not centered.. meaning when you want to drive straight the steering wheel spokes dont line up

      2. the steering mounted controls did not work

      3. steering does not return back to normal after you turn it.. meaning after you do the turn you need to turn the wheel back to drive straight ,, big minus

      4. airconditioning was not very impressive..

      5. gear shift is heavy though the throw distance between gears is not a lot.

      6. Reverse Sensor did not work..

Guess its a result of lot of miss handling but after 840 km of test driving how come ? could it be that badly handled.

Positives: I and my wife am used to driving a honda city but had not issues getting used to the gear shift timing and handling of this big SUV. Drove in heavy traffic with no difficulty.

Final Words Worth its price, but not sure of service and quality.

Areas of improvement Gear shift, steering wheel return, ABS/ EBD and airbags especially when you have unproven model to push in the market, these features will make a big difference.

      Good drivegear shift, brakes, finish

Exterior It looks like a cheap copy of the 'Ford Endeavour'. Force is bringing this fatman from china from some local manufacturing unit there. This is an age old model which is being manufactured by some local automobile manufacturing units in china. It can be imported from china directly with all its cheap stuff.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) You feel like you are sitting in some age old truck when you get inside. The space is good and there's a lot of leg and head room. The interior quality is poor. The design is pathetic. Force has brought a chinese truck and has mounted some makeup features to it like a jvc music player, a diamler steering wheel, steering mounted audio controls, cruise control. Overall its a poor package.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox As said earlier, Force has brought a chinese truck and they have added some makeup features to it. Similarly, 'ONE' has a daimler engine. The engine used is a high performance and a torquy one. But still, Overall this SUV lacks quality. You can get a Tata Aria in almost the same price of 'ONE' and the interior and exterior quality and styling of the ARIA is much better as compared to this. Fuel economy is just near upto the mark as it has a diamler engine. Not too fuel efficient one. It will manage to give you around 12kmpl on highways and 8 to 9kmpl on the city streets.

Ride Quality & Handling Body roll!! Theres a body roll at higher speeds. The steering lacks precision. Suspension is on the softer side. Not too comfortable in city traffic. Although the ride and handling has been fine tuned by the LOTUS ENGINEERING, but still this SUV doesn't feels something worth as the FORCE is a weak brand in INDIA with a small dealer network.

Final Words Overall FORCE is offering a poor package at a price of around 11 lakh. Poor interiors. Poor exteriors. Only the engine and gear box are something to look upon. And there's a doubt on FORCE'S after sales service.

      Areas of improvement Interiors, Exteriors.

Exterior Exterior is decent looking and that’s a personal choice.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Only good part is space as it beats everything else here, but rest all is extremely poor and disappointing including various parts, finish, nut bolts everything.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Total disappointment, average fuel economy of around 10-11kmpl. Gear box is a disaster.

Ride Quality & Handling Car is normally stable on road but at high speed at above 100-110 kmph it makes sounds and rattles like it'll blow apart, very noisy, shaky, makes squeaking noise from almost everywhere, very high vibrations, tiring.

Final Words I have driven this vehicle for almost 33000 kms now in approx. 17 months. It’s nothing more than a science project by some engg students, that’s the best I can say. It has constant problems and I have spent more than 30 days at various intervals getting it repaired for 100 diff problems. Fuel tank is faulty and gives incorrect reading, console displaying various readings are mostly incorrect, and gear is horrible. Had worst experience in Ladakh where it won start in the morning at sub zero temperature and then I was told that it has no cold start kit (how stupid). Even in North temperature of around 1-3 degrees it takes it at least 20 kms of ride before engine starts rattling bad vibrating like crazy. All parts be it engine fans, AC, handles, locks, nut bolts, hinges, vipers, seats are v v v poor and have been changed or repaired. It actually sounds and behaves like a truck / bus with similar kind of sound, vibrations, gear and ride quality. I am surprised how could Govt. allow this vehicle on road as in my opinion it’s not safe and is dangerous due to various in built flaws. Even the dealers are sick and tired of the product and cannot do anything except for keep repairing it again and again. Coolant leakage is frequent. In less than 6 months the vehicle had started squeaking and making strange noises. Worst thing is that its resale after one year is not even 50% of the price paid to buy. Totally available and better go for Tata Safari or anything similar. This is the most poorly build vehicle in its category.

Areas of improvement If you try to improve it you'll end up building a new car all together.

Exterior The company Force Motors has come up with the best possible design as per the safty and ruggedness of the vehical. The car offers a good amount of comfort and space without compromising the safty of its passangers. Though the design gives you a slight impression of Ford Endivor but the LED lights do helps in creating a difference in night driving.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It appears that the company has compromised a lot in finishing touch for the interiors to control the pricing however the vehical have more to offer in space and comport. In all poor vision as per the compitition.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The only benifit the car offers you is a goo fuel economy (that is 13Km/Lr city & 16 Km/Lr on Highway with AC) The egnine power is good and will give you the torque you requir to push it for speed. However the car takes alot strain in pick up.

Ride Quality & Handling The riding quality is surprisingly good. It felt pretty good while driving and turns.

Final Words If I need to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10. I will give it a 7/10 for fuel eco & performance. but 3/10 for interior.

Areas of improvement The company need to realise that the competitor are way ahead with Interiors & Styling. Morevore the comapny is not offering much on services or corporate discounts. The showroom salesmen are hardly bothers about the clients, this gives a negitive impression about the company as well as services. Now with Mahindra XUV500 in the market I fear Force One has little chance to make any impression to the buyer.

      Exterior

I have seen many comments regarding outdated body and all but friends even today i get many compliments for the imposing stance of the car.The suv looks best in bold black or grey

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

The space in the suv is tremendous.I have gone frm mumbai to kerala twice in this suv with 6 other members in utmost comfort and there are lots of space in it.The cabin is airy and doesnot feel claustophobic. The dashboard is basically utilarian but may feel outdated to some. But in ones i saw recently launchd there are cosmetic changes near air vents and nearthe 2 din JVC music system. The audio controls on the steering  and bluetooth controls work very well and i use it all d tym. There are  airvents in all three rows and it is sufficent. The seats are comfortable and there are lot amounts of legspace.EVN with all seats up der ws space to keep some burly backs in the bck.THe music system wrks vry wel with usb ,pendrive fm. Der are few panel gaps but den u can see it in allmost all cars plyin around

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

The engine is  mercedes benz 2.2 FM tech.Even though its bit old u can feel the outright acceleration at start. It is quite fun to drive and u wont feel its kerb weight is 1800 kg and still it reaches 0-100 in 12-13 seconds.the fuel economy is around 10-11kmpl. considering the mammoth size of the car and kerbweight i wud accept it ,considering i hav seen some endeavour returning 6kmpl.Gearbox is bit tight and it requires some extra effort evn though its frm G32 mercedes benz gearbox. Now using it for 1.5 years iam accumstomed to it. The gearing is well done to rev properly in both city and highway use.

      Ride Quality & Handling

The ride quality is very gud .U wont feel smal bumps or potholes on the road at all.Actually ihav been to U.T (hillstation) ,tamilnadu and many places in kerala which required force one to ride on steep hills and dirty roads and we were happy wid the performance. The good groundclearance helps it in this cause.Like i said earlier gearbox is bit tight and u need some effort but using it continously for this period of time nw i dont feel nythin. Thers a cruise control option,Hav used it only once or twice ,it works but den i dont like to use it so cant say abot it.I hav coveres 39000 kms in this tym.

      Final Words

I had to choose between Force One and XUV500 but i choose the former. There ws no place for kindergartn bag in the bck wid all seats up in XUV500. Whn i frst bought force one ,it had some probls ,but den it ws first passngr vehicl from force.Ovr the the period of tym The initial troubles were removed by fixin them at service centre at turbhe .The updated parts were not charged at all .One of notable were the coolant problem , but then at last it too was solved it has not occured since last year.I am now enjoyin my car and i use around 80 kms evryday.Wen i bought it there wer only 4 force one in my area but then after new models were introduced i can see new ones croppin here and der too often. When u are using suv u need power and force one has it brutally.

Areas of improvement I would have likd the gearbox to be bit mor loose

The sales office i kno has been shiftd from sanpada to nerul in navi mumbai. The service station is at pawne turbhe midc. Now this is important The service station guys are bit lazy. So if u go der be firm and get ur work done and check it wen they return it. Doing this will help u to get ur vehicle on time and get the job done.Thers a camp evry year at the service centre wen lot of staff from force company comes , visit it get the new changes in car. To be vry serious the car company does continous R&D and tries to remove niggles and thats i like the best.Recently i heard they are investing 500 crore into another production plant.

Exteriors. Overall a good value for money package, the vehicle looks smarter in flesh as compared to the photos. First Indian vehicle to get the DRLs, which add to the attractive front fascia of the vehicle.  The fit & finish however, definitely needs to improve for a vehicle which costs 12L OTR. My car, for example, has uneven panel gaps on both sides of tail gate, with left side of tail gate almost touching the side wall and the right side showing a wide gap of almost an inch. The contours of the headlight units do not match with the contours of the body shell. The sealed (right) headlight unit had some sort of stains on its projector lens, which I showed to my dealers. They did offer to change the unit, but the new unit also had the same problems. The paint work is fairly good and is well complimented with chrome work. Both ORVMs are electrically adjustable, though have to be manually folded. Vehicle comes with all 5 good quality Alloy wheels nicely mated with 235/70 R16 Apollo tyres, which add to the masculine looks of the vehicle.

InteriorsInteriors are extremely spacious, with best leg space in the segment in all the three rows and decent boot space behind third row. Steering wheel is comfortably placed with mounted audio and cruise controls. The car has dual ac with independent vents for each row, and dual controls on the front central console. Ac is quite effectivel for a large cabin of this size, though blower noise is slightly on the higher side. Instrument cluster is a decent job, with a host of lights, indications and readouts. The car comes with a 2 DIN JVC KW-XR816 audio system and four speakers. The audio system is fairly good and has an integrated Bluetooth for pairing with mobiles or other Bluetooth enabled devices.  There are a total of three 12V sockets in the car, two on the front console and one for the middle seat passengers. One of the front sockets houses a cigarette lighter and other has been left vacant for using 12 V appliances such as mobile charger etc. There are two ash trays, one on the front console and other next to the central seat charging point. Check all these before delivery, my vehicle has been delivered without the front ash tray and the sales as well as the servicing team of the dealer have been unsuccessful to solve the mystery of the missing panel ever since. Irresponsible attitude, since it'll be your money, not theirs. The door lock pods are the vertical kind and could have been better, as all four pods are of different length, even after tightening them (definitely a no no for a vehicle of this class). Independent ceiling lamps for all 3 rows, with the rear 2 lamps having option of activation through door switch. Puddle lamps on all 4 doors with red lights, which I personally feel, would have been more effective if they were normal white lamps. Gear shift throw is rather long and so is the clutch lever travel. A dead pedal has been provided, a nice feature for long journeys, where you could take your foot off the clutch pedal.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox.   Engine performance is a strength of this car and was definitely a major reason for me selecting this SUV. I must admit that I was more inclined towards TATA Safari earlier and had been awaiting launch of Safari Storme for quite some time. I have driven Safari Dicor 2.2 VTT also but this car definitely has much better engine response and extremely well controlled NVH levels. The overall economy, that I have been able to muster through city and highway drives is a healthy 12 Kmph, and I'm sure it would improve further as I have only clocked about 1900 kms so far. Gearbox mates well with the engine and vehicle accelerates effortlessly to three digit speeds. At the same time, city handling is also quite convenient, with especially third gear providing decent range from 20 Kmph to more than 65 Kms or maybe even more (I've been a little conservative in order to allow a healthy run-in for the vehicle). The gear lever though, as I already mentioned has very long throws, and gear shifting doesn't give a very well planted feeling. First gear in my car would bounce back on its own, as the car used to roll forward. The situation has improved a bit after first servicing, and I am hopeful that gears would give a better feel as the gearbox settles-in and both car and I get better used to each other.

Ride Quality & HandlingRide quality is once again a strong point of this vehicle with very smooth ride and good handling on all sorts of roads and a little bit of offraoding that I have subjected the vehicle to, so far. Body roll is probably the least in the class, and ride comfort for the passengers of all three rows, one of the best. Suspension does a good job of gobbling imperfections and surface irregularities of Indian roads. I was a bit apprehensive about lack of ABS/EBFD for a vehicle of such large dimensions, owing to its inertia at higher speeds, but I am pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of the LCRV system, and the confident stance the vehicle maintains during braking at high speeds. I have faced issues with power steering, however, which tends to become hard after prolonged drive as the day temperatures rise beyond 45 deg C. I had to take the vehicle back to dealer two days after delivery for this problem, and then twice again after that. They have flushed the power steering fluid twice and refilled it. The response is slightly better, but the problem is not entirely gone. The company definitely needs to look into this aspect, and maybe need to switch over to a better fluid or re-route the oil lines in engine compartment. I would request fellow F1 owners also to give me feedback on this aspect.

Final WordsIt is definitely a good package with potential to capture better market share, provided the company remains vigilant in ensuring that all the checks and balances, that have been formulated are followed in comlete sincerity. This does not appear to be happening as of now. My vehicle was handed over to me with 54 Kms on odo, and sales guy explaining to me regarding how each vehicle is extensively driven to weed out all problems before final delivery of the vehicle. That, however, did not appear to be the case, as after I took the charge of the vehicle, I had to return twice to the dealer for various problems, which definitely would have been noticed and rectified, if the PDI would have been carried out with even 30% sincerity. Still, the vehicle has been delivered with missing bits which I am desperately trying to obtain now. The people at the company need to listen to the market and need to open communication and feedback channels with their customers and potential customers, if they are serious about their product. Any link for this is missing from the Force One site as of now.

Areas of improvement. Fit and finish, Need for providing more options for colour of interiors, quality control, better servicing network, Need to establish a consumer feedback system for product improvement, Need to better educate sales and servicing team as they tend to consider every customer as naive and at times give ridiculous inputs, which only lowers the confidence of an informed customer.

      Exterior
Surdy and Butchy looks.. Very strong and sexy
Strong Body panels, Visibility from the driver seat is best in the class.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interior Fit&Finish is not up to the mark, Very Very spacy, Leather uphostery is good, Average JVC 2DIN system, Ofcourse BAD speakers too. :)

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Ultimate Engine, Very powerful 140 BHP with 320 Nm it can take you anywere.. Gear Box is perfect, and gives 12 to 13 in City and much more around 16+ in highway

      Ride Quality & Handling
Excellent ride and handling, I have touched 143 and the vehicle was damn stable.

Taken this vehicle to nasty roads in Wayanad and the drive and ride was very comfortable.. Very very reliable.

You feel very safe in this vehicle regardless of what kind of a terrain you are driving it.

      Final Words
Performance SUV for a very very reasonable Price. No bells and Whistles just the basics but the best. Show me another better vehicle with in the same price tag

      Areas of improvement
