<p><strong>Exterior</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;Design of the Jazz is futuristic and it wont age for the next 4-5years, vouch for it. designed to make the visibility of the car and minimise blind curves.the use of glass makes the car a 'pictureque view' for the onlooker...</p> <p><strong>Interior (Features, Space &amp; Comfort)</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;The interior is the place that makes the Jazz what it is- its a Sedan in the hood of a Hatchback. Once you are inside of the car, you will never like any other entry level Sedan in India + also a few so called preminum sedans. Its got everything that a car lover can ask for. Excellent Space due to its thoughtful 'function over form design', all the controls are asthetically placed and ever better is that all the functions required for a premium car are made available- steering mounted audio controls, intergrated music system, tonnes of storage, beautiful and extremely functional digital display on the dashboard. The best part of the car is that the back seat occupans (usually your kids and family) are very happy with the enorrmous space in the rear. this makes sure that the driver of the car (you) and the co-occupants (your family) have never been happier!! Once you start driving, the almost 'panoramic' view of the car will make you feel like you are sitting in a premium movie hall like PVR...needless to say, the blind curves are almost non-existent due to this design aspect!!</p> <p><strong>Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox</strong></p> <p>while you start to turn on the ignition and drive,&nbsp;u will be reminded of an old refridgerator advt- yeh awaaz hi nahi kartha- the engine is so silent that you will double check ur ignition key to make sure the engine is running. Few folks complain of lack of torque at the low end- i strogly feel that this is due to the lack of engine burp that a swift would produce. dont be cheated by it, the engine is working and will smoothly glide you at 3/4th gear even in peak traffic. some also say that the engine isnt sporty enough, thats NOT because the engine lacks response, but because of lack of the 'vibrations' passing into ur legs when u open the throttle (like in the swift) a god sent engine!!!</p> <p>Fuel economy isnt thew best in class- about 13-14 in city and 16 on highways- more than what i need, even for a petrol car!</p> <p>Gearbox is again 'Honda like'- very slick and responsive. Its almost as if it reads ur mind and goes to the position u want it to...smooth as silk.</p> <p>Overall- its the best driving experience in the country!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Ride Quality &amp; Handling</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Final Words</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;its true value for money - at 7L we get the space of a sedan, features better than a sedan and the premium feel that only a Honda can offer!! all your friends and 'well wishers' may advice you against buying the Jazz because for 7L + we could land ouerselves a more 'status worthy' sedan- hey, but this is all about how you feel from the inside than what you want others to feel when they see u drive a car!!</p> <p><strong>Areas of improvement</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>waiting period-&nbsp;i went to bookk a Jazz in Oct-11 and was told that the waiting period is&nbsp;8 months and that from April-12 the bookings will normalise. Today i called the showroom&nbsp;and was told that the waiting period is STILL 8 MONTHS!!........Honda, pls do something about this!!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>(if only the Thailand Honda factory hadnt had so many issues)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>design, premium, space, features, safety- the best car everwaiting period only!!!

my first car Ritz LXI

Hi friends ! after spending around 2-3 months on various options, doing a lot of research on net, having TDs i finally books my RITZ LXI today in Jaipur. My budget was only around four lac and was to decide only between i10 and A-star. my mind was saying to go for i10 and heart was saying to go for a Maruti product which was A-star for me. I loved the looks of A-star. and was impressed with FE of Astar. (My daily driving will be around 25km daily) I took two test drives of A-star and I was satisfied with it but there was concern in my mind regarding space. I have family of 4 me, wife, and two daughters of 10 & 8. My kids were in love with looks of A-star but my wife was not happy of it. She used to say that the look from front seat is not good in A-star because of dashboard. There was concerns in my mind also regarding the space in rear and very negligible boot. I read here on reviews that travelling at rear in A-star is horrible. Regarding i10 i was planning to buy i10 1.2 megna. I like that car in size in compression to A-star but i read a lot of complaints regarding i10 like the Electronic Power Steering of i10 has some problems and ASS of Hyundai is good but very costly. So many of my friends suggested to go for only a Maruti product. Today I went to showroom for booking of A-star VXI but before booking I decided to take a TD again. So I went for TD of A-star with the sales guy and I was satisfied with it. But after TD of A-star I decided to go for a TD of RITZ LXI too. The TD of RITZ changed my decision in minutes. The on road cost of A-star VXI here in Jaipur is 4.11 lac where as cost of RITZ LXI is 4.45 lac. so it was the matter of paying around 35k extra but the difference in product is amazing. I found RITZ more roomy both on front and rear seat. The boot is very large, sufficient for two big suitcases. The driving position is amazing. Gear shift is so smooth. the engine is very efficient. even I could take the car direct in 3rd gear with full AC. The engine is noiseless. when car on red lights u cant not guess the engine is off or on. there is no vibration in in side. and when u drive the car u feel like u r riding the road. It gives feel like a SUV. So it was a matter for me of only 35k extra but the reward was amazing. So i booked RITZ LXI and will take delivery after 3 days. When I came home and told my family that for what I went and what i did they all got surprised but that is my style !!!! The only problem is that Maruti guys are not offering any discount on this car and not even any free accessory. but what can be done !!?? So I will keep u posting the further developments.superb driving experience, efficient engine, speciousrear look, no discounts, not too many standard accessaries in LXI
