Most Helpful Review | My pride My Tata Nexon After having driving 16 used cars from different brands from the year 2000 my First NEW car at the age of 39 was a TATA NEXON ..Diesel variant ...being in Goa the Tata sales network is not great..yet I got my test drive. I had fallen I love with the Nexon the moment the teasers were out online ..it was. Unique and Tata motors got a new life all because if Nexon. I was amazed how they came of their lethargic previous experiences into truly a fascinating one with the Nexon ..I have been driving the Nexon for last 2.5 years have clicked whopping 64000 kms It's still the Beast and had everything a driver needs ..most of all SAFETY. Service is pretty reasonable as compared to even MS but again the Goa service network and it's presentation is poor..they are getting it but surely it's just ok. ( Service) But thanks to TATA I am a proud owner. being Indian.its my Pride. | Bad choice for that much money ! Probably the most imperfect car ever. Nobody checked it before it was passed for sale. Within 6 months the driver side window glass stopped working, doors have not been fitted and aligned properly. At high speeds, you hear loud air noise as if one of the windows is open. Sunroof works only 50% of the time. Headlamps are probably worst in the industry, totally useless. What adds to your frustration is, TATA service centers and employees are not equipped to solve any of these problems. All they have to say is, "Sir this is a manufacturing defect, what can we do?". There is no symmetry on the inside or outside body of the car, you might find a door, a plastic piece, outer linings few inches down/up if you compare both sides. I assure you, more often than not, you will find yourself regretting for not going with a car from more seasoned carmakers like Ford/Kia/Hyundai. That 5 star safety rating would be meaningless once you get to know the number of issues in your car. There are a few pros too, its powerful, spacious, high ground clearance, but all and all, you expect much better when you are paying 10 Lakh rupees. I have used Ecosport for around 4 years now, and in that much time, I haven't faced as many issues as I faced in Nexon within first 6 months. |
