Most Helpful Review | Duster is really a beast My buying experience was good. Actually, I have exchanged my 1-year-old Hyundai xcent with this one just because to switch from sedan to suv. I like its design but still my driving experience with my Hyundai xcent is awesome coz it gave me a whopping mileage of 23 km/l on diesel. But i little bit disappointed as my duster 1.5 petrol only giving me a mileage of 8 in city and 13 on the highway. I have also asked my friends those who have creta, seltos, breeza, nexon, scross, ecosport, SONET etc in petrol, the mileage is same 7-9 in city and 12-15 on highway in spite of their ARAI mileage rating which is higher. My suggestion is you can go for duster without any doubt coz for Indian road condition duster is perfect suv unlike its counterparts creta, seltos, scross etc. which are just showpiece and poor on road. | Beast with amazing Ride quality and Handling I am one of the first few owners of the Renault Duster turbo 1.3 RXZ 2020 model. I got the Duster on 30th September 2020 and have driven 4000 km since then. Across 3 different states. The driving experience was very different, I would like to share the experience with you. Renault duster turbo has got phenomenal ride experience along with very punchy engine which never makes you feel left out. I took it on few bumpy terrains, highways, expressways and have also driven it within city limits, with a collective return of 13.2km/ltr. The car has got capabilities to do 0-100 under 10secs and has topped 190kms/hr as tested by me. The engine revs all the way till 6000rpm without any stress. The built dynamics induces a lot of confidence in the corners and on high speed. I can assure you nothing till the segment of 25 lakhs cars can provide you with the ride quality, what Duster Turbo does. On the downside, is its brakes, two drum setup at the back lacks initial bite, which at times. creates panic during emergency braking. Another fall back is poor ergonomics and lack of practicality in the placement of interior elements. The interior itself looks ages old as compared to the other cars in the segment. Lack of all-wheel drive takes away the charm Duster had when it created this segment. |
