Amazing crossover suv with luxury, comfort and full tech

Mercedes won’t let you down on a jazzy buying experience for sure, they will make sure to retain you for a long time. Buying during lean sales period helps the customer to get the best of both worlds with a higher negotiating power although Mercedes keeps it tight with dealers consolidation all over India which also helps to keep the pricing fair and true rather than unnecessarily inflated or overly marked up. If you have bought cars from the 4 guns of India like Maruti, Hyundai, Mahindra, and Tata, the buying experience at Mercedes will keep you floored with the utmost professionalism, transparency, and celebration. They will drop it down a notch if requested if customers who desire to have a low limelight. The driving experience of the petrol variant is very peppy and frontal acceleration will make sure to keep you hooked to the seats. Diesel acceleration is a bit sedate but not a slow slouch in any way however, it does not give you butterflies in the stomach like the petrol engine. Petrol is smooth and linear on performance whereas diesel has a grunt with torquey performance. Vibrations are very well controlled in diesel but the petrol is smooth like an EV. An ISG integrated starter generator in the engine on both petrol and diesel keeps the initial motion under control, less cluttered and more sophisticated, with minimal noise, giving higher performance and mileage. However, with the vehicle loaded to the brim with luggage and passengers, we felt the diesel to be more fun to drive, responsive, and chuckable, making it a no-brainer choice unless the running is low. The suspension is stiffer and comfier but should have been more sturdier like the GLE. Maybe the tire profiles also help, but a chunkier tire on the GLC would help on the GLC for a more comfortable ride and better stance. Rear seat comfort is adequate but not great without any recline angle change allowed and no climate control with only rear AC vents and manual blinds with no seat ventilation or heating supports. Cubby holes make way for great storage in the car, aka SUV, and the boot space is adequate but not humongous like the GLE since it has a more SUV stance and loading curvature. Body roll is very well controlled and negligible when compared to any of the SUVs like the GLE, but not as great as the BMW X3 or Audi Q5. GLC beats all the competition with higher-tech, pure luxury, fair pricing for a seamless buying experience with unmatched service support and professionalism with a value-for-money package and a winning recipe by the manufacturer to retain customers no matter what. Overall north of 60 lacs, few cars can win both heart and mind together; however, GLC is one of them. Cons are minor and Liveable MBUX is great but the navigation map although 3dD needs to be updated at least once a year over OTA, ADAS is accurate for rear warnings, frontal warning are better disabled in crowded cities, AC is chiller, front seats are a bliss with best in class comfort, lumbar support, neckline, headrests for all 5 passengers. Kinetic massage is available for 30 minutes for both driver and passengers for front seats only. Can drive on bad roads, but does not seem to be as friendly as the G class. The driving angle can be automatically set by the MBUX options, camera quality is above the segment, air purifier does a wonderful job. The headlights could have been better, but not bad. Cornering lights feel like a miss, but the spread of performance LED headlights is spot on and makes night driving safe and secure. Rear seats come wet child-friendly ISOfix option, side step is a hit or miss, it helps elders and young ones only. Spare tire is a donut, and folding the rear seats is with the touch of a button, but not fully electronically like in the GLE. Exterior and interior color choices are tightly coupled, so make a wise decision accordingly. Overall, a top-notch product from a leading luxury manufacturer delivered with great customer value and quality.
