Disappointing service

I purchased a 2019 ERTIGA Smart Hybrid from True Value last year. Within just one year, the Exide battery (which was under warranty) developed a fault. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry to drop my brother at the airport, so I didn’t pursue the warranty claim immediately and decided to replace the battery. To my surprise, none of the Exide outlets had the specific battery model. They informed me that it was a special type supplied by Maruti for new cars. So, I returned to the True Value dealership where I bought the car and handed over the faulty battery on October 14. As of October 27, I still haven’t received a replacement or any meaningful update. This experience has been extremely disappointing. I urge all potential buyers to be cautious about the promises made during purchase. Once the payment is done, it feels like the customer is left to deal with issues alone. I’ve had other negative experiences with True Value that I prefer not to disclose here.

Not so satisfied with the value for this car but overall this is an average car for a big family

Overall, it is an average choice for a big family. But it is not value for money. , because features are not well according to this price range. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga VXI is a practical 7-seater MPV ideal for families, offering good mileage, comfortable interiors, and decent safety features at a competitive price point. Its spacious cabin, efficient mild-hybrid engine, and user-friendly driving experience make it a strong choice for daily commutes and road trips. However, it lacks premium features like a sunroof or leather upholstery, and the absence of a turbo-petrol or diesel engine means performance with a full load is modest. The auto start/stop function and limited torque at low RPMs can be a drawback for some users, especially on highways. Overall, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga VXI is a reliable and fuel-efficient MPV, but not for those seeking sporty performance or luxury features.
