| Most Helpful Review | Kia Sonet This is my very first car, and I must say, it’s been a delight so far. From the outside, it looks stunning, and from the inside, it feels even more premium—almost like being in a luxury car. The finishing, feel, touch, and overall comfort are excellent. I opted for the HTK optional variant, which comes loaded with features like automatic AC, automatic headlights, foldable ORVMs, a sunroof, rear AC vents, and one-touch automatic window controls (operable both individually and from the driver’s seat). The driving experience is smooth and enjoyable. Yes, you can feel the bumps a bit on potholes if you’re going fast, but overall, the suspension works well. Currently, I’m getting an average of 9–10 km/l, but I have only driven 240 km in the past two months, so I expect it to improve. The handling is excellent, and driving it is genuinely fun. I have already completed the first service, which mainly involved routine checks. My experience with Kia’s service centre was great—they handle everything smoothly, take regular follow-ups, and keep you updated via WhatsApp with details and photos of the work being done. It gives you complete peace of mind without having to put in much effort yourself. Also, boot space is quite good and rear seat comfort is also fine. Safety is also good, 6 airbags, tyre monitoring, front and back parking sensors with a camera. EBD, EBS, front disc and rear drum brakes. Height-adjustable seats with all functionality provided on the car steering. Car steering is also adjustable, but not telescopic. | Understated appeal, Interior quality, Drive experience The first thing that I truly appreciate about the Sonet is the cabin. It looks and feels premium, which, considering the time I spent chewing highway miles, made for a great place to be in. From the feeling of holding the chunky steering to the tactility of the buttons and the nice seats, it is a cabin that I didn’t mind spending long hours in. What also helped in this regard is the sunroof, which helped make the cabin feel airy. |
