Most Helpful Review | BMW 5 Series I don't have this car but I have driven it couple of days and I know the experience of my friend who have this car and it was amazing. Best in Class. Looks are pretty neat not much loud but love the way it looks and performance is next level. It does have a 2 liter straight 4 cylinder B48 turbocharged petrol engine with the M sport trim which looks like a cherry on the cake. The way it pulls is something obnoxious. The moment you get hard on the accelerator more it rewards you and talking about the driving dynamics, the car feels planted at higher speeds, goes well into the corners, body roll is well contained but feels a little bouncy on higher speeds. But it's a overall package or performance and luxury. Maintaining a BMW is a bit of a task. You really need a deep pocket to maintain this car but luxury and performance comes at a cost and that cost defines it very well. So, maintaining this will be hard but it will put a huge smile on your face when you will drive it. | Exhilaration has a new name I was looking to buy my first luxury car and considered the obvious German manufacturers, Mercedes Benz E Class, BMW 5 Series and Audi A6. While all these are very competent cars with their own strengths, it was the Jaguar XF that caught my eye and I ended up buying it. Firstly on sheer looks the Jaguar XF is in a different league - quite distinctive and looks quite like the cat it is named after. On performance, it is nothing short of exhilarating. One tap in the Sports mode and the car lunges forward with a speed that is unmatched by the Germans. On interiors, it is tasteful - not quite as overdone like the Mercedes or very staid like the BMW. On drivability, the car feels quite at ease in the city as on the highways. I think the Jaguar XF is very underrated in the luxury segment and something that more car aficionados should consider. |
