Buying Experience: I purchased my Basalt Dark Edition from KHT Prime, and the overall buying experience was very smooth. The staff handled everything professionally, and the delivery process was hassle-free. Riding & Driving Experience: In just 3 months, I’ve taken this car on multiple long trips: Bangalore → Vizag → Raipur → Nagpur → Hyderabad → Vijayawada → Pondicherry → Bangalore. On highways, I consistently got 19.2 km/l, which honestly surprised me in a good way. Within Bangalore city, I get around 10–11 km/l, which is expected for this segment. Driver comfort is exceptional — even after long hours of continuous driving, there is absolutely no tiredness. The suspension, seat comfort, and cabin insulation make long rides very relaxing. Steering is light in the city and confidence-inspiring on highways. Performance: Performance is amazing, especially at low RPMs. The car maintains smooth pull and offers very confident overtaking. It feels strong, stable, and refined at high speeds and on ghat sections. Looks & Build Quality: The Dark Edition has a bold and premium road presence. The design stands out everywhere, and the build quality—both outside and inside—feels solid and well put together. Servicing & Maintenance: Servicing has been smooth so far, and maintenance looks reasonable. Citroën’s service network is improving, and the overall experience has been positive. Pros: Exceptional ride comfort Great highway mileage (19.2 km/l) Strong low-end performance Confident overtaking Premium looks and solid build Spacious interiors Smooth long-distance cruising Cons: No major issues till now. But one thing I miss in my variant is ventilated seats — would have made long drives even more comfortable. Overall Verdict: After 8500 km, I can say the Citroën Basalt Dark Edition is truly a standout. If you want a stylish, comfortable, and performance-focused SUV-coupe that delivers both looks and value, this is an excellent choice. Totally satisfied with my decision.

Positioned as a bold alternative to rivals like Tata Curvv, Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, and Citroën’s own Aircross.Design Subtle X badging, LED trims, dual-tone cabin. Comfort: Ventilated seats, ambient lighting, smart rear seating. Infotainment: CARA voice assistant, large displays, wireless charging. Safety airbags, ESP, TPMS, 360° camera, 4★ NCAP. Powertrain 1.2 NA and turbo petrol; 5MT / 6MT / 6AT. Price₹ 7.95–12.90 lakh (ex-showroom) with optional extras.Value Proposition: Intelligent AI, premium interior, festival-ready pricing. A smart move by Citroën: refresh the cabin, add AI magic, drop prices slightly, and deliver during the festive season for maximum impact.

The Citroën Basalt X stands out as a bold entry in the compact SUV-coupe space, combining French flair with practical design. Its coupe-inspired sloping roofline adds sportiness without compromising too much on cabin space, while the signature Citroën comfort-tuned suspension ensures a smooth ride on Indian roads. Inside, it offers a clean, modern cabin with user-friendly tech, though some rivals still have a slight edge in material quality. The turbo-petrol engine delivers peppy performance suited for both city commutes and highway runs, paired with good fuel efficiency. Overall, the Basalt X strikes a balance between aesthetics, comfort, and performance, making it a refreshing choice for buyers seeking something distinctive in the crowded mid-SUV market.

Everything's are no. 1 , compared to price. Only service centre not near my location. Otherwise it's best looking, best comfort and strong build quality. Many safety features and all updates technology include here. If you have to get a car with style, respectable social status, comfort and safety it's all here. It's value for money.

This coupe car is the best in design compares to other companies car in similar segment. Why I'm sure about the engine performance and comfort of this car because I have Aircross Turbo charge engine driving since last 1.5 years. Driving and comfort is so smooth and punchy and mileage on highway of 18-20 km/ltr.

The Citroen Basalt X SUV offers a Creta-sized vehicle at a lower price point than a Maruti Suzuki Brezza, featuring the largest boot space compared to rivals. It includes an intelligent passenger assistant named "Kara" that provides information on topics like nearby locations and fuel range based on planned routes. The interior features soft-touch elements, a new instrument cluster, a start-stop system, a brighter touchscreen, climate control, a 360-degree camera, though screen utilisation could be better, a wireless charging pad, leather-wrapped ventilated front seats, and subtle ambient lighting, addressing previous complaints about a lack of features and premium feel in the Citroen Basalt model. Available with 1.2-litre non-turbo and turbo engine options, including manual and automatic transmissions, the Citroen Basalt X is priced competitively. The exterior design remains largely unchanged, featuring LED lighting but no sunroof, with 16-inch alloy wheels.

The car is wonderful and an epic competition for all rival cars; there is no doubt that this car will reach a new milestone. The design of the suspension is too good and above the Tata Curv.
