I have owned the car since 2011, first owner and the car has done 41000 Km. Please do not buy this car as the built quality is bad. In spite of being the first owner and the car has not been driven a lot the problems have outranked the pleasure of owning.

-Within the first month of it being bought, the car engine seized and was in the workshop for a whole month. Folks in Chevrolet were clueless.

-Within 18 months of onwership, the entire wiring was replaced - If out of warranty be ready to pay a couple of lacs.

-Rear windscreen was replaced 2 times as the radio signal was weak (imprinted)- And again it has to be done as i am facing the same problem again - be ready to 15k.

-Within in 4 years, the central console has to be replaced as the screen went blank, be ready to pay 25k atleast.

-Each service will set up back by 10-20k, and you need to get it serviced every 6 months.

-Within 4 years the Electronics quality suck - car will not read and AUX devices.

-Within 5 years of owning (June 29, 2016) the AC conked off - guess how much the service center wanted to fix it - a cool 50k.

-The service station is horrible dirty, with unhelpful and clueless staff (Shiva Motors, Noida).

My advise, if you are looking at car in the same price range, buy a Toyota.

Ðiesel Rocket

It's an awesome car. It's truly a diesel rocket. Unfortunately in countries like India where Marutis and Honda's are considered the best, Chevy's are shown the exit door. Nothing to compete With cruze. I have owned it for 7 years. I can challenge, no car in this segment has even 50% of style, stability and performance.

Love with Cruise

Storm of road I am deep love with this car unfortunately the company is run away from India but the Cruze was like the Rocket in Diesel with a Powerful Engine.

Chevrolet Cruze Review

I had the Chevrolet Cruze from 2011-2016. I've driven it for a thousand kilometres. It's been an absolute, spectacular beast since then.I liked it a lot . The performance was mind-boggling. One con is just the maintenance cost. I liked it very very much.. I could buy it now if it's production is available. Thank you.

Very Reliable Car

I supposed to buy Audi, bmw, Mercedes for comfortable and safety I live in Canada come for a month every year in India then I bought this car comfortable and luxury according price.

This car is a very comfortable and drive experience very comfortable and smooth driving. Car braking to good more than other car's. Car interior designer as a high quality cars and money back car's.

Great feel , road presence is not bad, good at mileage obviously , can smoke any competitor car . upholstery is absolutely next to supercars over all 5 stars I would like to give.

6.5 years, 60,000kms, still in love with my cruze ??

Been 6.5 years with me and still in love with it. Done 57,000kms now .Power and that turbo kick is soo addictive and especially its masculine stance. Service costs are just normal compared to its segment. Although not fit for rough careless driving. Take good care of it n it will reward you. Ride comfort is pretty good. People use it like a Mahindra and then complain about it. Need to pay attention to the engine oil as damage happens there with the 15,000km interval and bad quality. Always change in, 10,000kms max n use a bit expensive synthetic oil instead of showroom shit quality. Service quality and network is garbage. I probably have more knowledge than the dumb asses in the service centre. Clutch and some components are of bad quality though.

Pros Exterior styling- best looking car in its segment Interior styling- all black leather looks very upmarket Performance- diesel rocket. Nothing will overtake you. Features- fully loaded ( cant ask for more) Safety - 5 star.(doors are twice as heavy as a Japanese car) Comfort - top quality. Cons Fuel economy - very low (8-10 kmpl in city) (12-14 kmpl) highway Rear seat space - Lower than expected from a car in this segment
