Has breathtaking looks. Makes heads turn as she passes.
Powerful, 150 ps and 320 Nm torque. I love SUV's for their power, and their capacity to conquer all terrains. Indian road conditions can put the most challenging "rally" routes to shame. Especially during monsoons. Only the surface of the moon might give them some competition. SUV's are ideal cars for Indian roads.
High ground clearence. Very useful to manoeuvre, the car through the craters in the roads, especially during monsoons.
Excellent fuel economy. The readers reviews by different owners, give the figures between 8-13 kmph (city & highway). Considering the average as 11 kmph, for this kind of terrific power is simpy amazing.
Saftey is very well taken care of by Air Bags and ABS.
Except for the driver's seat all the other seats can be folded, so lots of room for everything, if seats not occupied for everyone.
Classy and very comfortable interiors.
Beautiful suspension making diving a comfort and pleasure.
Has the additional feature of automatic speed control while going downhill. Prevent right leg cramps while driving in mountainous terrain.
Has everything that an ideal car should have, and some more. She is my idol. How can you not love her?
Now the BMW X3 replaces this car.
EverythingNo complaints, I love the carExterior/Styles

Exterior
Good cool looks, not as attractive as Toyota Fortuner looks.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Better than Toyota Fortuner or any other car in the segment
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Excelent. Can some body compare the engine performance and driving comfort with Toyota Fortuner?
Ride Quality & Handling
Excelent. This car can be considered as the best machine in this segment with optimum reqd engine power (not excess).
Final Words
Should have been multi row AC at least second row duct is must. This GM should understand for indian hot conditions in May n June which is also unfortunately the holiday for chileren n family for going out long. Also it seems Gm are not seriously interested to market it. It is being sold on quality bassis. It is the time in india that people want to see adds of their cars on media n every where. The waiting on the cars

Exterior I love the exterior looks and the aggressive stance.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Roomy interiors, good leg space for 2nd row seats as well. I wish the driver seat were 6 inces higher to give a higher seating, though its not really an issue. The dash fascia is not not as well organised as I would have liked. For instance the side view mirrors switch is not something you want to adjust when driving, being located inconveniently. What i really like is the way the 3rd row folds in , flush into the floor. Getting isn and out of the car is a breeze, unless you are wearing a saree!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I did not feel any lag in the autobox and the car has terrific acceleration and you can barely feel the gears shifting. The 4 disc brakes are outstanding.Too early to comment on fuel economy though I got 10 kms so far.
Ride Quality & Handling The suspension is tight , meant for a pseudo SUV, but not bad at all for a SUV. Its quite comfortable and sedan like , though the 2nd row passengers may not always agree. The handling is good , though the turning radius could be tighter.
Final Words I considered the santa fe, and the TATA stable. The former is too expensive and latter is just not good enough. The scorpio is too bouncy. I wouldn't btouch the Skoda yeti , from what I know of the after sales problems , skoda owners face. The endy was too huge for my liking. Among all these , i found the captiva well balanced in terms of comforts, features, economy and the pricing. I am having fun driving it.
Areas of improvement I would be happy to have cruise control, auto headlamps and redesigned cfront console witha port for music. Nothing i acnt live without though. What really should be upgraded is the music system, which is below expectations.
looks, good drive, acceleration and brakesNo AC for rear seats, music system is below par

Modern design, good dynamics and multi interior makes Chevrolet Captiva worthy representative of its class. Chevrolet Captiva has sufficient room for accommodating five adults easily. This car is 4.6m long, 1.8m wide and 1.7m high, with a wheelbase of 2.7m. When going out in short drives, the third row of seats in the Chevrolet Captiva can seat two teenagers and also grownups. The model comes fitted with a 17 inch alloy wheels, leveling suspension, partially leather trim, heated windscreen and the electronic stability monitoring system.
The car is offered with three different types of engines: two petrol and one diesel. Diesel aggregate volume of 2.0 l/150 litres. Tractors and modification of Captiva in Russia would not be sold. So to choose among the options of four with two petrol engines (2.4 l/136 litres, V6 and 3.2 l/230. C). V-shaped "six" good leads 1770 kg Captiva, coupled with the 5-step automatic transmission and car Pick accelerates to 100 km / h in less than 9.
Boot quite impressive, but if the rear seats down, the area of valuable space will be doubled. The rear seats can be folded and on parts (in the ratio of 60/40). Put down all passenger seats, the load will increase to 1565 litres. Incidentally, for the convenience of downloading Captiva can be opened separately glass back door. Inside storage is a small stowage has a glove box, which has cooled. In front door pockets than in a card for a round niches for litre bottles of water, for example.
Inside comfort can count up to seven passengers. The basic version is for five people. The various planes govern seats. Rudder also can tailor the height and tilt corner. He made audio control panel, as well as, in some assembly, and even buttons for the cruise control system.
Altogether its feel great to have this car :)

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Car,s door make noise when u open it.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 6kmpl,Chevorlet make us fool that the engine is refined but it releases black emission for 10000 km(says the sales manager, regent automobiles)I have bought it 2 months before and the whole body of car makes noise and when I complained about it the just washed the car and said the car is alright.
Ride Quality & Handling New car alignment is out.U cannot use the rear view mirror as nothing is visible in it.
Final Words DO NOT EVER BUY A CHEVY CAPTIVA!
Areas of improvement THE WHOLE CAR HAS TO BE IMPROVED!
FIRST OF ALL COMPANY SHOULD IMPROVE DEALERS AND AFTER SALE SERVICES FOR THE CUSMORS! THE SALES MANAGER MAKES A PHONE CALL AND SAYS THAT IF ANY PROBLEM PLEASE COME TO US.I ALSO HAD PURCHASED A NEW CHEVY BEAT WHICH I HAVE TO SELL DUE TO A VERY POOR AVERAGE OF 8KMPL.AFTER COMPLAINING THE COMPANY ASKS FOR THE CARS AND REDO THE PROGRAMMING.THE PROGRAMMING WAS DONE 5 TIMES BUT NO IMPROVEMENT WAS SHOWN.I RECOMMEND EVERYONE NOT TO BE A FOOL OR IDIOT TO BUY A CHEVY CAR.THEY ARE SOMETHING ELSE BEFORE SELLING A CAR AND SOMETHING ELSE AFTER THE CAR IS SOLD.

Exterior
Good and sporty, has the muscle of 4wd
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Decent,however could have been better.
The music player is old and outdated.
Only a single Cd player comes fitted.
NO usb connection
The 3rd row seating is not recommended for Adults specially on drives over 100 km.
The 3rd row seating is far more comforatable than Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero sport.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Good Engine Performace and great pick up ,Fuel economy is great in city as well.
Clutch is a bit hard
Gear box is soft and easy
Ride Quality & Handling
Good and Steardy even at high speeds to 130-150 km/hour.
Suspension is quite nice
Ride quality is great
Handling on high speeds is exceptional
Final Words
An excpectional suv/4wd for family
Areas of improvement
Interiors should be worked upon
Air vents at the back
Led and Automatic lights should be introduced.
Sunroof for all models should be there
Self start button missing

Exterior Sexy!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable front and middle row seats with lots of leg room. ( i am 6feet 2 and did not have any problem with leg room even in the middle row) of course the last row is for kids.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent did a 4000 km road trip during the peak of monsoon and enjoyed every singe moment. AWD really came in handy when driving through slush pulled through without any struggle.
Ride Quality & Handling One of the best I have owned and driven. Pushed it to a max of 170KM and still the road grip was surprisingly good and the car was stable. For a SUV it handles corners very well.
Final Words One of the best SUV's value for money. average about 11KM on high ways and about 10 KM in city with AC .
Areas of improvement Initial response between the pedal and pick up slightly lags by about 8 to 10 secs. once the engine revs up there is no lag.
Good Style. Excellent riding comfort drives like a sedan. Love the suspension and road clearence.no on board Navigation system.

The captiva captivates all in all segments. those who aspire to own it should have some money kept aside for their dream car. Very elegantlly built with all safety features and all the space you got in the world.Very classy Design and superbclimate control.Speaking about the engine.... very good for highwa and off road driving. The effort to drive is very easily managed by the guidance assist system. Technically ahead of other cars in the category the car comes with a good some of money...those who own it must maintain the MUSCLE POWER with all means.😎
