The BYD Atto 3 claims to offer a distance of 420km I have never achieved more than 300km on a full charge. I travel 27km to work each day and back 54km per day. The car eats 20% battery charge per day. On a very warm day, the first trip on a fully charged battery will be 18% of the battery, which increases to 22% as the battery is reduced on charge. On average, I get 3km per 1% of battery charge. I drive slowly and average 15 kWh per drive. I complained to BYD, and they laughed at me, saying I purchased an electric car, what did I expect! I do not have the heating on at all. Only lights and radio.

Dont Buy - After sales is awwful... you will be stuck

Me and my colleague bought BYD Atto 3 months ago. Its a wondeful car to drive and we were very happy unless the car met with an accident.It require change in back light and some work on truck. No internal damage was done. It has been over 4 weeks, BYD is unable to repair the car.They only have 1 reason, part is not available.I would recommend not to buy as you will be stuck for after sales support and parts.

Atto3 Defines Luxury and Reliability

Atto 3 is a premium luxury car. The outside is designed to appeal to global consumers. The car has an understated exterior design. It delivers power that surprises and space that is both calming and more than adequate. Mine is named a Unicorn. There are no compromises here, every part has been designed exclusively. The ergo is no nonsense, everything where it should be. Performance is exemplary. I have driven 8000 kms and there is not even a deviation, forget niggles or failures. BYD leads with Battery Technology as well as boats of in-house design and component manufacturing. There are no (cheap) plastics anywhere; the tactile feel and textures of this beauty are beyond imagination.

Dynamic Variant is most VFM

The dynamic variant is most VFM most all but lacks ventilated seats which should have been there. I dont care about ADAS in city driving. The car is solid and given BYD's tech it is surely a good purchase among other competitors. Just BYD need to boost their after sales support and parts availability then it will surely kill Tata/Mahindra.
