The real X'over for under 200Bhp Owners

I bought X1 instead of 320d as i was driving Coupe(s) for a long time. And confidently can say that I made a perfect decision.

Exterior

The Exterior is curvy and sudden slides at times but that make the style statement of BMW. It does have perfect figure to give it a second look. Shows the legacy of BMW from the front and the back is perfectly meaty. Having a big arch for the rear tyres gives a feel of macho feeling.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Interior is again soft and leathered, awesome carpets to feel like youre in the top of the line brand vehicle. Cabin is silent and filters out the traffic noise to enjoy a company fitted music system thats quite better than others. The controls are handy and on steering and you hardly need to do anything on the dashboard except you want to keep on fiddling with it. One can get used to it by driving it for couple of miles. The steering is tilt and telesopic. You need some shoulders to drive this car as the steering is not featherlite. However, its perfectly complimented with auto gearbox and both of your hands are on steering all times. The OVRMs are perfectly controlable and you can electrically fold them while parked at narrow spaces. The front seats are electrically adjustable sets to your best requirement. The rear seat to me was uncomfortable as the angle of the seat is a bit more straight than what i preferred. But with arm rest and plenty of legroom one can snooze on long drives easily.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Engine is refined and oozes out that 184 BHP with Torque as required. Overtaking is like a blink of an eye for this car. Chandigarh to Pushkar in Rajasthan (650Kms) was flat 6 hours 20 mins with no stop over. That was THE Best drive i could make it and you just dont feel sometimes that you are 170-180+ The best i could take this was 205 for couple of minutes between Jaipur and Ajmer. However, the best speed i could see it on a long drive for this car is around 130. Its takes on the highway manoverabliity quite briliantly at this speed. The city driving economy is around 10 and sometimes even 12 based on the conditions. The short autogears help you drive anywhere. Night driving is also a pleasure as the lamps are awesome.

Ride Quality & Handling

Try turning this car at 80-85kmph on a 90 degrees turn and while you can hear that skeetch but Zero body roll. Thats the perfection. You do feel large potholes but the one we normally have on Indian roads goes unnoticed. I have beaten Audis and Mercs many times on a road racing. There is no competition from any brand anyway.

Final Words

Everybody likes to move on from the common cars to these top of the line brands and what should be kept in mind is the power, comfort and safety. This car give you all. And mind you THE SERVICE IS NOT JUST WONDERFUL BUT AWESOME. You dont need to remember what is required when. BMW Service helps you managing it.

Areas of improvement

Boot space is quite irritating at times. I could not fit two big suitcase and a bag while coming from overseas trips

Exterior Good, I like kidney shaped grill, looks front side and back chrome looks, body coloured mirrors and handles, motorised, this is excellent car for two people, best car in this very segment bmw logo makes it a very sturdy card with macho looks, colour options are too many , white and silver are evergreen, Black and blue are best, interior matched exterior of siver and black, white and beige, black and beige, blue and beige are excellent colours, contours are too matchy.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Not very luxurious interiors, leather seats not real leather ,back seats are foldable, not fit for 5 persons, ground clearance of 170 is excellent, length heiight and width make it roomy.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent, gear shift excellent, fuel ffficient, best gear quality, 8 shift gear box.

Ride Quality & Handling V good, comfortable, quality is German and excellent.

Final Words Good sporty sedan like SUV. best SUV in entry segment

Areas of improvement Interiors price, price.
Exterior , navigation panaromic sunroof ,sedan type look ,memory seat ,Hard steering ,back space not roomy , price is v high

Exterior Gorgeous front kidney shaped grills, very strong built and provided with large safety steel rods to prevent bonuts entering the cabin, superior design

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) One word superb plush interiors, rich upholstery sporty steeing wheel,superior features like auto start stop, large boot space, fire resistant cabin n etc. etc...

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Powerfull engine that generates an enormous 184 bhp and also generates very less sound as compared to other vehicles in this segment. smooth and trendy gear lever has all the manual and ports mode along with drive mode. highly fuel efficient with eco mode, quiet roomy, provied with all the modern day gizmos and gadgets making the ride safe and entertaining.

Ride Quality & Handling Perfect ride quality..slightly bumpy at times..beautiful handling

Final Words This comes as a complete crossover with the touch of a sedan and hence giving it a perfect urban modern day look. perfect car coming from world leader in automobile technology

Areas of improvement Well for me, this new facelift model of x1, BMW has come out with out of the class technologies catering to each an every need of the customer. so for me there are no areas of improvement as such.
Good exterior design,nice grils, sporty gorgeous interiors ,very advanced technology , strong builtummmmm........

Exterior Excelllent styling and curves, Day time led lights are signature trademark of bmw.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I bought the 2014 fully loaded xline, loaded with features like navigation, panoromic roof, eco pro, in built 14gb memory, driver seat memory. leg room is good.. rear seat 2 people can sit comfortably, 3rd person has to adjust a bit.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Powerful engine, great pick up, that pull when u press the accelerator fully is jus awesome .. fuel economy is not as good as what they claim (16,17) but i get 11, 12 in city and 13, 14 in highway. Gear transmission is very quick and swift.

Ride Quality & Handling Very responsive engine , ride quality is awesome. Stearing is little hard, not as smooth like audi , but very safe. very sturdy at high speeds.

Final Words GO GET IT !!

Areas of improvement Fuel economy, hill assist,dvd player,reverse camera.
style, panoromic sun roof, power, memory seat, navigationfuel economoy is decent.. not likewhat they quote.

Actually I buy this car X1 and it was really a good car for you and pricing is also not very high but also not very robot it's very fantastic and very good car Riding experience is very much good it's very smooth car that you can drive driving like a butter its run like a butter its interior is very fantastic and future yes you can't you can't deny to bite so my opinion is that only you buy this car only because its best and best
