Exterior Looks could have been made more contemporary (especially rearview). Nevertheless, it looks like a serious executive sedan. While it may not look trendy, it can actually age well.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent Napa leather seats, idrive and entertainment  are simply the best, much improved heads-up display, ambient lighting makes car feel like a lounge, not a hint of cheapness. Car is very quiet.

Rear view entertainment is useless. No connectivity to satellite or SIM and it relies on a cluncky remote.

Panaromic roof would have added to the charm. Finally, for the $$ we may in India, Bowers and Wilkins should have come standard.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox My 1st road trip of 1500km went very well. Car drove like a breeze on highways. The 3 liter engine mated to 8-speed sport transmission makes this car run like a beast. It quickly does 170kmph without you even noticing.

Ride Quality & Handling Car rides on par with Mercedes E Class even though it only has suspension dampers.  Car fees planted to the road at all times.  And breaking is rock solid.

Only complaint is the clearance is low for our shitty roads.  I wish they gave some kind of ride height adjustments like Audi A6.  Despite my best care, car scrapped on many bumps.

Final Words This car is a keeper. Kudos to BMW for addressing all the issues from the F generation cars. Now, consumers have a car which not only drives like a BMW but also feels like a Merc when seated in the back!

    Areas of improvement

    1. Cost needs to go down.

    2. Panaromic Roof needed.

    3. Boot space is less with the spare tyre (at least this car has split rear seats which help).

    4. More gestures for gesture control needed.

    5. HK Stereo, which great needs to be on par with the Volvo's BW system.

    6. Blind Spot detector needed.

Excellent transmission, backseat comfort, superb interiorsexterior look conservative, expensive
