Exterior Well, the looks are personal, but sill, Tata Nano looks cute. Especially the newest model looks gorgeous to be fair.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) One big let down of the cute Tata Nano are the interiors. The quality of plastics are the cheapest available in the market. I dont think anyother car comes with this cheap quality materials. Get ready to replace small things like the turn indicator stocks, window winder etc on almost every service. Also the stay of the bonnet (its where your fuel lid is placed) broke at least 3 times in my 15000 KMS ride. Pathetic. Tata provides only one side mirror which is pathetic. now coming to the cons, the interiors are spacious, both front and back even  for tall driver and passenger.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is peppy for the first 2 gears which is good for city traffic. but in highway you will be bringing up the rear of all the cars on road and its not gonna win any races against any car. So dont even think of a road rage ;) Fuel economy is decent. Gear is only slightly better than a bus gearbox.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is pathetic. The nano is good for city short distance ride. Youl notice your right toes locked up on the accelarator and the right tyre bulging inside. And your left leg stuck on the dashborad. The car is noisy, gear box is horrible and the sterring is very heavy. You will need some gymnasium lessons before trying to turn the nano in a standstill position.

Final Words Expect lots of niggling issues with the Nano..Yes, its the cheapest car, doesnt mean it will be cheap for you for the lifetime..My clutch got faulty even before 6000 Kms,( that full service and repair cost me 6000 RS), had to change battery and rear tyres jsut after 15000 Kms, and on one fine dat, the nano just refused to start...replaced starter motor and cost so much money...If you do want to take a nano, expect so much problems and it will never give you a peace of mind...and the repairs and service from Tata is just horribe and not cheap too..

Areas of improvement Lots of area of improvement.. All i say is if you can stretch your budget, go for maruthi alto or hyundai eon.. Worth the money.

Spacious interiors, Good AC; Good Fuel Economy, Decent lookingHorrible ride quality, Poor build quality inside out, Noisy, lots of niggling issues both small &big
