      Exterior

Friends i brought New TATA MANZA quadrajet aura ABS. last month..i am very happy to buy this car. the  car look of this so nice. R15 tubeless tyre provides look with safety. tata provieds  more than 5 colours with manza (I have white). the front look of manza is awsome. in my city there is not that much aware of this car so. those who  seen this car they are compliment me.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Interiors of Manza made it different from his peers...bluethooth music systerm, imbillizer, back seat arm rest, child lock this things you will find rearly in this price.

Front Seats are well adjusted..nice leg room....driver seat height adjustment..back seat provisdes you lots of space you so you can get all comfort that you need.

TATA is the only one in this segement  who provides bluethooth with the music systerm and the music quality is also nice.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

The TATA has priveded Quadrajet Diesel Engine of FIAT...same engine which used for Fiat LINEA

1248 CC, 90 PS @ 4000 rpm power, 200nm @1750 rpm Torque, engine generate excellent power...pick is nice as it is diesel car...the most important thing is the engine si pretty quiet you can't hear noice of the engine in side the car..manzaa is giving 18 km/l average from which i ma very satisfied.

      Ride Quality & Handling

I like steering which provides smooth the comfort for driver.

      Final Words

Only thing i say ...TATA  is back....with the MANZA tata has improved his image..but he need to improove his dealers network and after sales service.

      Positive points:

      • Extremely neutral family sedan. Well rounded 6 - 7 lakh rupee car
      • Fuel-efficient  engine. Nice gearbox too
      • Unreal back seat comfort. Interior space comparable to two segments higher
      • Excellent ride quality. Acceptable handling
      • Build quality, fit and finish are way improved. No longer a major turnoff
      • Respectable level of equipment and safety kit
      • Sheer value for money pricing

       Negative points:

      • Interior fit & finish still have room for improvement. Below average in some areas

The doors obviously don’t shut with that European thud, but neither are they Jap flimsy. Dual tone interiors are standard on all variants, as are the tilt-adjustable steering and 15 inch wheels.

Storage space is good in some areas and average in others. Sure, the main glove box is deep and there’s a storage drawer right under the passenger seat. But there isn’t a center glove box, the door pockets are rather small (7 inches long) and the seat back pockets narrow. No convenient bottle holder on the doors either.Driver's seat height adjustment has good range

The Manza’s ride quality is superb and will keep you very comfortable over your daily runs. The ride is perfectly cushioned for the city; not too soft nor too firm.

Exterior The Car looks fantastic in any profile, it looks much bigger than it is and has the oomph factor attached. Paint quality is too good (I have a Tyrian Wine colour). The wheel arches are well designed and bleneds will with the fender and the bumpers.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) There is tons of space inside. You will just enjoy the space to the core. Rear seat give the feel of sitting on a couch at your living room. Some very sore misses though in the new Manza ABS Quadrajet over older cars, like Rear defogger is missing, Rear Parcel tray power socket is missing, Glove box light and chiller is missing, Lights in the vanity mirror is missing. Would have been really nice if these things were intact in the new one too. Else there is nothing to crib about.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine reponds to the slightest throttle. Hats off to the Quadrajet engine, power deliver is precise and has got good grunt in the engine, though there is noticible turbo lag. Fuel ecomomy will make even most hatchback cars hide their face.... too good. My car is 6mts old and the avg i get is 17.50 in city with A/C always blowing and in hectic trafic conditions. Gear box is a bit notchy, but the throw is precise and gates are very accurate.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality of the car is good and you will never feel fatigued even after long drives, the ride is very soft and even uneven roads do not pose much of problem. Handilig is awesome, car can glide over pot holes with out much of distortion. There is a bit of road noice that protrudes into the cabin which can be crubbed by better insulation material. Car is shod with 15' radials which hadles well over all surfaces.

Final Words I sincerely feel that Manza is a perfect Saloon and has got all the capabilites to compte with the cars that are priced twice in its segment. This is one car that will never disappoint in any front.

Areas of improvement Would appreciate if all the missed out accessories over the previous Manza are put back into the new one too. Fit and finish is acceptable, but again would look better if they are of finer quality. To sum it up, its a car that will care for you.

Space,Dash Layout,A/C,Handling,Ride,MileageLot of required accessories are missing over earlier Manza Aura Quadrajet

Tata Indigo Manza is one stunning car, For this size and features that it provides, I don’t think there is any other car in sub 10 lakh segment – including likes of Verna, SX4. And from size angle, maybe even Honda city, I am surprised to see why Dzire would sell more than this car - the only consistent reply which I have got is after sales service of Tata - which seems to have improved recently. But that doesnt justify why such car should be 2nd ranked behind Dzire! IMO its pure idiotic to buy dzire over manza.

How I wish Tata’s would have dropped “Indigo” from the name tag. That would surely have helped the popularity of the car, plus it would have been right thing to do – the reason being, there is nothing similar between Indigo and Manza!

For starters, the engine and gear box in Manza are not the regular TDI ones which are fitted in Tata indica and indigo. This is the much better engine from Fiat – the same engine that powers Fiat Linea – albeit much better tuned.

When I planned to buy a car, I had planned for a budget of 5.5 to 6.5 L. Also, my driving being limited to weekends, intention was clearly set on Petrol car. Key to decision was budget and space – being a “tall” family, the space – both in front and rear seats was of very high importance.

That started a journey of multiple test drives and evaluation across various parameters. To begin with – in my budget, there was a range of hatchbacks and amoung sedans it was Logan, Swift Dzire, various Indigos and Manza.

Initially, I tried few hatchbacks. Found range of issues in those cars – though these may be good ones for some. Punto has absolutely no space in rear. Ford figo looks beautiful, has excellent boot space but has low ground clearance, which is not ideal for kaccha roads in India. Swift dzire looks big from outside but cramped inside. Polo and i20 are probably best of lot but on expensive side. Anyway – I had narrowed down on Polo and i20 from hatchbacks.

One of my friends indicated that at same budget, I can go for a sedan as well. That is when I started looking for sedan in same price range. The first test drive was swift dzire. It’s a good peppy car, but space is rear is awfully cramped. The test drive was with my full family – 2 kids, wife and mother getting into the rear seat – and they were very very uncomfortable. The AC cooling compounded the misery – though I feel that was one of problem of the test car. The engine was peppy, and drive was good – but the rear seating space was a real issue. Plus, lookwise the boot is not well integrated with the regular swift. Maruti seems to have done quick work of attaching the boot to swift, and there is a bit oddity in shape. I had tried Verna as well – and it has the same issue of rear seating.

Next was Manza. Well, the first drive and it was evident that this was the car for me. Blaunkpunkt music system with 6 speakers, Bluetooth connectivity(tested the same), the tilt steering etc – and all these features in base version. I tested the ABS version(Saffire Auro ABS), and slamming on brakes while speeding at 80km/hr was absolutely no problem. Coming to rear space – you need to sit in to believe it! With front seat in fully back position, I took the rear seat. Being 6 ft tall, my legs touch the front seat in most cars – including Honda City – but here – there was a space of 2 inches! The recline angle of rear seat is just awesome – gives complete comfort. The engine has been tuned for higher power than swift and was quite peppy as well. The AC cooled the entire cabin in under 1 minute – that was in heat of early June.

Overall the experience in Manza was quite stunning. I read most of the reviews on net, and only issue that was listed was the interior quality. Well, I seriously did not find any major issue – maybe that is personal choice.

Got the car from Hem Motors in Satara delivered in 2 weeks from booking. The overall experience with the dealer was quite pleasant. Overall cost of car was 6.2lakhs for ABS version. Did not go for Airbags, as had read reviews that those can seriously damage the people in front seats – and is quite risky for kids.

Have logged some 500Kms so far – and experience is fantastic. Mileage is around 10, which will go up post 1st or 2nd servicing.

FE - 15kmph, drive quality, comfortShd have dropped "Indigo" from name - it is way different!

Exterior Its large looks, make me proud. Every one is seeing the head lights first , then looking at the logo and getting surprise that this is from TATA.You have to face the lot of jealous looks of the people.1000% it gives you a great image among your circle,Every one congratulates you.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) All are excellent, If you sit in the rear seat , you feel like your drawing room sofa. I am conducting small meeting in my car. I am making some presentations in my car.You can use it as your mobile office room with AC. 6ft+ will enjoy lavish leg room.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I drove from hyd to mumbai and over took more than 300+ vehicles. Over taking in AC with 5 adults with boot load of luggage is little bit difficult. 25 kmpl with A/C  at 60 kmph  , NON AC at 80 kmph ( constant speeds ), 17 km pl on highway,12 to 14 in city depends on driving. Gear shift to fifth gear is little bit tight When engine is off, the break pedal is hard to push,we have to use more leg weight.

Ride Quality & Handling Superior ride quality, THE BEST BACK SUPPORT , I drove nearly 3000+ km, but still I dont feel like to getting out of my driving seat. My kids say another ride please , even after comig from 300 km round trip. Superb braking with ABS.

What ever you have seen in the first TV add, the owner in the drivers seat and the driver in the rear seat is 10,000% true. I have test driven linea,swift,sx4 and choosend for this. If are good at driving and reversing , you can manage in small roads also. It is suggested that you better have rear parking sensors for safety in parking. But So far, I have not gone for them.

Final Words The practical definition of VALUE FOR MONEY, Just close your eyes and choose this car for you, If you love SEDANs and SPACE, The next best car after this segment is only TOYATA COROLLA ALTIS , CHEVROLET CRUZE.

Areas of improvement Rear A/C vent,Rear sensors can be made as part of standard equipment.

Fuel economy,Headlights,Space, comfort, boot space, high speed stabilty, lumbar support, blue toothFifth gear shift,When engine is off, the Brake pedal is hard.

Exterior The exterior is good to look at. The paint and body works are good and sturdy. The headlights and fog lights at front and rear are very well placed to give proper illumination of the road in front and obstacls behind while parking.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Carpets and seat decor go well with the interior design. The locable vanity box and bottle / glass holders are well placed in front as well as at the back. The driver seat has height adjustment as well are steering alignment adjustment. Power windows and power steering add to comfort. The AC kicks in cool at a fast pace. CD player can belt out your choice music. Air Bags make the drive safe alongwith ABS and EBD.

The Boot space is real big and so is the space between the seats. With my seat (driver) fully pushed back the rear passengers have no complaint. My daughter says the rear seat is wide enought to sleep off on a long drive.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine response to the accelerater padel is super. The Manze just take off. The fuel economy is very Good - Diesel giving 16 K/l in city driving is very good. The gear ratios are well dispersed. And there is more saving as the Qudrajet does not recommend any costly Super Diesel or any other additive - they just want regular plain diesel.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride is very good and comfortable. Handling in traffic situation is smooth. Even the turning radius is good for big car like Manza.

Final Words When I was considering to change my Opel Corsa I was considering besides Ford, Hyundai and Maruti diesel cars the TATA Manza also. The price factor was eveluated and reviews read, althought there were not many reviews on TATA Manza since it was  home made desi car. But, this Manza beats every other car in any which way you compare it. However, I would like Tata to start a 'Contact the Owner' system as their dealers cause a lot of avoidable bitterness. The dealer in quertion was Autolink of New Delhi.

Areas of improvement The Car as such does not require any improvement except a Rear Glass wash and wipe. Delhi is full of Dust and that sticks - need to wash it off.

A VERY REFINED CAR. GOOD FUEL ECONOMY, GOOD INTERIOR STYLE AND GOOD ROAD HANDLING.A REAR WIPER SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROVIDED.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      Ride Quality & Handling

Ride quality good. Slight pull on breaking

      Areas of improvement

Dealers and Service Centers - Pathetic Service. Starting from delivery - car had scratches, took 4 hrs in arguing and replacement. Documents and bills took another 15 days, found difference of > 16000 in amount paid and the bills. Additional bills were generated for services like agent fees for registration etc and Rs 8000 were refunded. Similar stories on every service - Delays, poor quality, repair using feviquick inpace of replacement. Even with prior appointment mentioning the problem, was informed about the non availabilty of spare 5 hours after taking car in for repair (with me in their waiting room all the time with followup every hour). Quality and availability of spares. Had to struggle for more than a month for winder motor of front window.

      BEWARE OF GALAXY MOTORS MULUND!!!

Galaxy motors mulund is the WORST showroom & service station. I made the biggest mistake of buying my indigo manza from them. I am the victim of pathetic service of galaxy. My car is just 4 months old and it has gone to the galaxy workshop for at least 15 times. Out of this most of the times it went for the repetitive problems which they were not able to solve or the problem which they created while trying to resolve some other part of the car. Even if you complain to the Works manager or general manager of galaxy workshop, they will assure you of good service but they will do exactly opposite. I feel even the management is helpless because of the unskilled staff which they have. At the most the management will send you an apology letter.

SO BEWARE!!!!!!!!... NEVER EVER (even in your dreams) think of buying any car from Galaxy motors (Mulund).

If you buy a car from galaxy... Then they give you a free gift... i.e. MENTAL STRESS & DISSATISFACTION.

Exterior: Great exteriors the Build quality is great . The back bumper is a little too soft without any reinforcement/ support hence is too soft

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Interiors are great- The quality of speakers (Malysian Make) should have been better and the ABS version should have tweeters inbuilt. The plastics on the door handles, switches etc can be better but what is currently fitted is not as bad as it is made to be. The handling of doors need to be improved- Closing of the front door is a little harder for me.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: The engine is great and so is the sound proofing. The only thing that may be irking for users is that we may need to shift gears to get a punch of power and the car does not like to be pushed too hard. It is a family car and not for rally goers!

Ride Quality & Handling: Suspension and ride quality are good.

Final Words: The car is VFM and the engine, Build quality etc are all great and the looks too are very good. However the so called enemies of Tata are not my target. Just wanted to tell it was a good buy.

Areas of improvement: As mentioned against each point above.

Space, Good Customer service, Heart of a Fiat and proven engine and transmissionFiner details need more care- Doors, Paint etc
