I bought a skoda rapid from skoda's mumbai dealer senator motors, powai (A part of AVK group). Upon receiving the car, I observed some cranking noise from the window frames. I highlighted this to Senator motors, which they claimed that it comes in every car. The car went twice to the service center but the issue didn't get resolved. finally after a head lock, senator replaced the car with a new car within a month. A bigger surprise was waiting for us when we received the new replaced car where the noise in this new car was more than the previous one. we send the car to the service center close to 6 -7 times in 8 months of buying the car but the issue never got resolved. This was added by harassment of several kinds from senator motors. Another manufacturing issue came In the sixth month of buying the car where the front left wheel went flat. we thought it normal and replaced the tyre with the brand new stepny wheel, we could have hardly moved a kilometer that the stepny wheel which we replaced also went flat (pls note there was no pot holes on the road). we immediately called a tyre repair mechanic from the near by shop and got it check. to our surprise the mechanic upon checking said the there is no puncture but air is leaking from the alloys. since we had to anyways move from the place the tyre mechanic made a temporary arrangement and put a tube in a tubeless tyre to drive it further. we sent the car to skoda / senator again the next day on which they simply said there is no issue, and if we find any issue further they will replace the wheels as it is in warranty period. Just a day back when i sent the car to senator service center for regular service, I reminded them of replacement on which they harassed us for 2 days (we even had to call the police) and finally said they can't help. Worse experience of my life. with a car. suggest everyone not to buy this car and save yourself with the harrasement.
