When i chose to buy Scoda Rapid one of my client give me a suggestion to buy Monte Carlo.....Today i am very satisfied to use this beautiful one....nothing more to say about the exterior awesome....but i have a suggestion to the Skoda company make the leg space as to the Skoda Octavia then it makes 100/100.

Absolutely great car. I have owned a lot of cars including a Skoda Suberb and was always a fan of Skoda's heavy, sturdy and stable build. And Rapid does not disappoint. Exterior: Great looks, a head Turner on road (blue onyx edition). Black alloys and blaked out headlamps looks sporty. Interior: Though it lacks a few features found in peers, it does have all the essentials which works perfect. Spacious and comfortable in the inside. Drive: It has two modes: Drive and Sports. The sport mode is just a killer with higher RPMs and a racecar exhaust sound. Very stable even on high speeds. I was confused between these: Verna, Rapid, Vento, Ciaz, City. Took all of these test drives and trust me, Rapid beats them all straight down.

Skoda sales persons love lying...made me wait for 1 month more than the promised delivery date..After sales service is very bad...no one is ready to listen to you...leave your calls unattended.... Suspensions of new rapid are faulty...even maruti dzire has better suspensions...I have lost 3 tyres due to this faulty design of car coated me 20k...and skoda India has turned deaf ears to my problems

Automatic transmission model is great, greater control of car even at 100 kmph. ABS works really good and suspension is very good. Car is fuel efficient at 60 to 80 kmph. Rear view is somewhat similar to Mercedes Benz in look and feel. White color needs daily cleaning but a royal and elegant feeling.

I have purchased my rapid in 2013 and driven 96k km and still driving. I drove around Bangalore traffic and the ride quality Is excellent. I never felt any back pain or neck pain till now. Stability on road, high speed handling, steering handling, speaker quality, mileage, driving position, AC quality every thing is excellent. Maintanats is not very high. Only you have to replace your clutch after 45k km and Break pad after 21K. Pros High Spare parts quality Millage Ride comfort on high speed and low speed Less gear shift Low body roll Less tyre consumption.

Exterior It is understated, gentle and sober.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Inside is spacious, airy and comfortable.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Great engine and pick up, trouble free, bit of noisy though, gear box is smooth and slots in perfectly, Great mileage (18-23), quality material and sturdy build, comfortable seats, great music system, good steering feed back. Over all great car performance wise.

Ride Quality & Handling Very good, no complaints at all, I love my skoda when I am driving it, nothing can beat it in pick up, speed and handling.

Final Words Great car at this budget. Much better than Honda, Hyundai and Maruti. Never faced any issues while servicing at Mahivir. Vehicle has never dended any special care and no issues at all. Feel sorry when I see other owners remarks with Mahavir.

Areas of improvement Suspension makes a THUD sound on bumps, one has to be real gentle while negotiating bumps. Clutch is bit hard. That black and white combo is a bit off let down, it could be more inspiring I guess.

I AM DRIVING SKODA SINCE LAST 6 YEARS AND BELIEVE ME, ITS THE BEST CAR I HAVE  EVER  HAD. PACKED WITH SMART FEATURES AND SOLID STRENGTH, IT GIVES U A FEELING OF  COMPACT SEDAN.

INTERIOR IS JUST PERFECT. NO NONSENCE. VERY EELGANT AND COSY Interior. IT GIVES THE FEATURES WHICH ARE JUST NEEDED FOR A FAMILY CAR. ADDITION OF A SUNROOF MAY BE  WELCOME FEATURE WHICH CHILDREN ARE CRAZY ABOUT. SUSOENSION FEELS A BIT ON A STIFFER SIDE BUT ITS QUITE STURDY.

BEST PICKUP, BEST AVERAGE IN ITS CLASS. COMPACT SINGLE UNIT FEELING.

GEARBOX  EXCELLENT . SMOOTH GEAR SHIFTING  SMOOTH.

ONCE A SKODA BUYER - ALWAYS A SKODA BUYER--LEGACY GOES ON.

I THINK SKODA NEEDS TO IMPROVE ITS CABINE INSULATION. COS IN DISELE VERSIONS, IT S ROARING WHEN U PICK UP SPPED (WHICH SOMETIMES FEEL GOOD), BUT AS COMPARED TO OTHER VERSIONS - OF HUNDAI E.G VERNA AND ALL - ITS A BIT NOISY .

OTHER THINGS ARE UP TO THE MARK.

Best car in his segment having very good performance and build quality but it is a German car in German car lots of issue like costly service low resale value but car is very good lots of power which kick pants If your driving is on highway buy this because it have lots of stability on highway and it's DSG gearbox work very well on traffic and highway.

This is image of this car in India that you have to spend lot money on services. Service centres are froud specially Jai Auto in Gurgaon. Your spare part will be replaced. I have new skoda rapid running 30000Rs ana almost spend 1-2 0Lac Rs on its service.The ressale value is pathetic 230000/- for that much new car.
