ExteriorJust Fantastic It gives you an extra edge when you drive it in style. Especiall old model comes out with a very good shape.The new model is more huge and comfortable.Injected more electronic system in all aspects of the engine system including transmission.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious, Luxurious and very comfortable for long drives. Air Conditioners- Just superb.Mor leg room for tall guys like me.Above all it is safe.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very responsive car with great pick up and power.

Ride Quality & Handling Smal Child can also handle the steering once the engine is on.I take turns on 1 finger.That smooth they are, more comfortable than a sedan.

Final Words This is something you need to feel, the pleasure of driving/owening Toyota Land Cruiser  is something unexplainable- Hand off to Japanese Technology. I do not know about the same cruiser models in India, the model mentioned here in is fulley with GCC- Specification.

Areas of improvement Nothing identified.

This is a fantastic SUV- to know his true performance- take him to Desret.He will roar like a Lion.Nothing bad about this car,this is more than value for ur money-

Does not have an elegant look, when compared to SUVs like Range Rover.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 

Standard features but it has Multi terrain Reponse system that allows us to drive on different terrains such as snow, desert, rock, and so on. It also has the Crawl Control that can be activated when the car is stuck anywhere, and the car can automatically drive itself out.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 

There is a lag in take off when Accelerator is pressed. Of course these cars not not designed for fuel efficiency, so you can't expect any mileage. Very comfortable gearbox with 6 gears.

 

Ride Quality & Handling

 

Extremely comfortable.

Areas of improvement  

 

The new Land Cruiser 200 Series comes with inbuilt Navigation system. Unfortunately, it covers European countries only. What am I going to do with map of EU countries on the Indian roads??!! I have contacted the local dealers but they didn't have any clue what can be done to get this rectified. Finally they said nothing can be done about this and I am not able to use this Navigation feature. I am also not able to contact Toyota's Japanese office (where the car was originally imported) to ask them about this as the contact details are not provided on their website and their Indian Head Office in Bangalore did not even respond to my emails, despite all my efforts. After sales service is pathetic. I only bought this car as I trust the brand. I hope Toyota can improve their after sales service especially because I have paid a shocking price of Rs.1.56 Crores to buy this car in India!!! That means paying double the price when compared to the UK and US markets and get comprised on its quality.

This car also does not have inbuilt Entertainment system, TV, for rear seat passengers although it is mentioned that in their Manuals. At least I hoped the Manuals are customised!!

In India, most cars only has standard models, unlike European and US markets where vehicles are custom made to suit their customers' taste. This is sad and this is the reality. I sincerely hope Toyota can take this up very seriously.

 

 

This car is amazingWhen compared to peers in the same segment, such as Range Rover, it lacks in beauty, and features
