I took delivery of the Altis 1.8VL on the 26th of September and have clocked 500 kms on it already. It is amazing to drive and the auto gear box is super smooth to drive. The climate control is excellent feature and the car gives me 9.8Km/l in the city traffic with the a/c on which is quite remarkable for a car of this size and with an automatic transmission. The ground clearance is very good as compared to the civic which can be a little difficult to handle around bumps. The 8 way power seat for driver is stunning and gives u really good driving position. Acceleration is good and the car feels well planted. The electronic power steering is very easy to use and very easily maneuverable.

I took delivery of my Altis ( H2) on 13th august 09 and have already clocked 8000 kms. Am due for my second service @ 10000Kms. Few observations: 1. Maneuverability is excellent specially on mumbai roads. 2. Observed that there is a mild -to- medium strong engine noise in low gears. V Smooth in hig gears 3. Stability is excellent. I reached 185 Kmph on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway @ 4300 RPM 4. Long drive was extremely comfortable ( Mumbai -Goa-Mumbai) 3.
