Comfort : it feels like sitting on a sofa. Only if the driver seat would be slightly height adjustible, then it would be a dream car.
Mileage : More than expectation. Gave 13.1 kms/litre.
Built Quality : feels very safe & strong.
Engine : very silent & powerful
Lights & Boot : Adequate & spacious
Inspite of been driving a Santro & Esteem for years, driving the Corolla HE still feels very easy in the city. Except for the parking space constraints, there are no downsides.
Without doubt it is the best option to buy for those having a budget of 10 lacs.
Its truly among the world's best cars......

On road, Individual, Mumbai Regn.. appx 9.85L lowest model i.e. 1.8J (Executive)after finance disc of 24000/-

Mr. RajKumar, did you get the discount of 1.5lac as reported..how much did it cost you on road?

Raj on 24 Feb, 2008 at 10:36 AM

The seat height in 1.8 J does not adjust, but it is adequately high & one does not feel it low at all. I am using the car since 11 months & done 9000 kms. It still gives me 11kms/litre in city & 15.5kms/litre from MUM-Pune-Mumbai. It is still a value buy.

Dear Mr.Rajkumar, If you were bought Corolla 1.8E or 1.8G then U could adjust heighat of the driver seat. Height adjustable driver seat option is not avalable in 1.8J version.

Pradeep, I feel Cehvrolet shall have much less re sale value than a corolla... On my recent check at filling petrol, Corolla gave me 10.2 kms/litre all in the city..Your freinds must be having automatic version, which gives much less average. It also depends whether it is chauffer driven or self. If u have heavy running, than why not look for Ford fiesta diesel?? It is supposed to best value for money in diesel.

Raj You are sure about mileage. My many freinds are complaining aboth the mileage. Hence I am confused whther to go for Cororlla or Magnum 2.0 LT Diesel? Can somebody throe soem light

Raj on 24 Oct, 2007 at 07:34 PM

This car gives 10.5 kms/litre in the city with about 80% AC. On Mumbai-Pune run, from south Mumbai to Koregaon Park Pune, it gives 13.5 kms/litre with 90% AC.The above mileages I have checked several times & they may vary less than 5%.. Pretty good car & mileage for such a high powered car..
