The gear system in Corolla is very specific. If you handle the gears like an other ordinary car, you\'ll get stucjed. Push teh gear slowly, it has got its own path of falling down or going up. Same as in the reverse gear too. Once you will do this, you will feel that. The ger lever is not going streight when you put in IInd gear. It will slightly turn to right and then goes down in left. Do not do forcefully, and you will find the gears are so smooth. I comparre with Accent GLE, Smoothest 1.

you should have waited for the new corolla.. the old one is being phased off..
the new corolla altis is moving towards the camry.. the civic is a drivers car.. gr8 for driving aka racing style.
